The Off White album is really well written (an example of effective use of language in a comedic sense) and delivered. A lot of people seem to hate how he became a political propagandist after 2001- I look at his recent work and it is all about conservative political comedy and there are barely any youtube video of his that doesn't mention this in the comments.
October 25, 20195 yr funny rant that I found (from a liberal) : He shows up on reddit for questioning it doesn't proceed well:
October 25, 20195 yr this was the Bill-hicks plagiarized performance that launched Denis Leary's career. In listening to it, I can understand why it was my favorite comedy performance as a teenager with raging hormones. This and the sequel was re-runned on TV for a decade. I don't like it anymore. It's basically far more superficial/simplified and hyper-aggressive version of bill hicks- it's all about projecting an inner devil-may-care attitude. So Leary copied his persona but then modified it in his own way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxBHQup2Q3w&t=445s
October 25, 20195 yr Hubs and I used to watch Dennis Miller a lot. I agree a lot changed with him the year the towers fell.

October 27, 20195 yr https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxONi0v0Qh0T4TfowY9zOKQ Finished this album. Russell Peters is currently one of the highest paid comedians in the world. Russell Peters' career is entirely based on racial stereotypes, but with a twist: They're accurate and not mean-spirited. I have personally witnessed many of the dynamics he talks about in this album. It's interesting how politically incorrect he is and how he got this far. He's basically an Indian minstrel..
October 27, 20195 yr I still like this- channeling the spirit of young men. it's been so long since I heard this:
October 29, 20195 yr @Cult Icon I remembered a few more names tonight. Richard Jeni, one who died too early. Larry Miller who’s known more of an actor nowadays. His 7 levels of drunkenness is pretty much my college aged nights. (Not really me, but I have observed it in person. I was usually the designated driver) ...and the rest are out of my brain.

I checked Richard Jeni and after listening to a bit, he's great! I missed his stuff when I was making my list. Chris Tucker's 2015 special is great so far, a lot of 1990s dejavu feels This is the rest of my to-do (all albums to completion) list: -Robert Klein, Chris Tucker, Robin Williams, Doug Stanhope, Steve Martin, Carlin early, Kathleen Madigan ,Dave Attell, Russell Peters, Bill Hicks, Bob Newhart, Richard Pryor, john pinette, Todd Barry ,Tom Papa, Brian Regen, Jim Gaffigan, Kinison, Bill Burr, RIta Rudner, Fluffy, Richard Jeni, Gilbert Gottfried ,Jim Breuer I finished Kinison's most famous album. I thought it was alright. I don't like how he screams so much- especially when the situation doesn't need it. The last two routines were the best. It dawned on me that he definitely influenced a lot of comedians. Bill Hicks and Denis Leary seem to have been influenced by him. I will do the rest of his work.
