While I was talking with my friend about how amazing should a model’s life be, we had the idea to fill in the registration form. And that’s how everything started... Music is like a part of me, it can change the world! Also, I love reading. I always have a book with me, you can always find one in my bag in case I have unexpected free time, and it's cool because I know now models wait a lot! My brother and his wife were the first ones to tell me I should be a model. I always have their support, and even my Dad's, who thought this would be just a short adventure. vs. Paola from Puerto Rico 17 years old, 179 cm/5'10'' I must say that my favorite moment of EML so far was when I was announced the winner, but I also loved meeting the other girls and share dreams and stories with them. I think the fact that I worked hard and that I believe in myself helped me to win this contest. I’m so exited to go to China and learn about their culture. And it’s the opportunity to travel the world, participating in fashion shows and modeling for important designers that excites me the most about becoming a model. My diary: 01-11-2012 I see all this as a great adventure that hopefully will bring big and positive changes in my life! There's too much emotion to convey in this blog, let me just say I can't believe I'll be in Shanghai in a little month now. Joan Smalls is my favorite model and she inspires me to one day become as good as her. I like listening to music, especially Shakira and Adele, shopping and spending time at the beach with my friends and traveling with my family. Both my family and my friends think that this is a great opportunity for me to grow as a person and that it will allow me to meet a lot of interesting people. My style is cute and fashionable, yet simple. My favorite magazines are Vogue and InStyle, I like their beauty secrets and fashion advice. I try to get a good sleep every night, eat healthy and do a bit of exercising every day. But I do love chocolate ! 16-11-2012 Hola from Puerto Rico! Today was my last day of school and I had so much fun! I'm so excited for Shanghai and I can't wait to get there. I can't believe that in just a couple of hours I'll be in a plane on my way to China! Until I read in a newspaper that the Elite Model Look casting was to be carried out, and I was there right away of course! My story starts like the ugly baby duck that transforms into a swan or something like that, haha! My hobbies and passions are a little bit of everything really, I like to write, cut off images of fashion magazines thinking that one day a little girl might also cut me off of a magazine and stick my image to her wall! vs. Silvia from Slovakia 14 years old, 175 cm/5'9'' Modeling has always been a dream for me and as long as I can remember I’ve loved to dress up and take pictures of myself. So I’m really exited that I was discovered by a model scout while I was out walking. I think you can say that I’m addicted to fashion, I love flipping through magazines like Slovakien Eva and Italien Vouge, but I also love to check out new collections on internet and go shopping of course.
