Because then there were double standards (which, unfortunately, have not gone away now). Everything is changing now, BUT despite that many claim that double standards have been overthrown, in fact they are simply turned the other way. What we see in the situation with Leo and Madonna. And that's bad. Double standards are evil, they hinder the sustainable development of society. And two !adults! should not be bullied, no matter how big their age difference is and no matter what gender the older partner is.
