Maybe Adriana just hadn't gone before cause she was busy with other things or rather just have time to be at home. It seems Adriana likes to take care of multiple things on long trips. We now see she had a shoot there in London. So maybe the schedule just aligned where she'd be there during the days of the event. Kinda like she recently shot for Vogue Arabia while attending those Qatar events

She had a good year at the start of 2020. After covid her activity had changed and stuff. I think she is excited to be out there again.
