I heard on Dutch RTL Boulevard: She was not happy about a result

Poor Karen!

Now I would like to know ... what did she do?!

Well, she did this:

Karen in police custody!

The model Karen Mulder was held for police custody on Tuesday morning in the police station of the 8th arrondissement of Paris as part of an inquiry for telephone harassment, pointed out a police source.

Confirmed!

The Dutch model is notably suspected of telephone harassment contrary to her aesthetic surgeon, they specifies.

The police custody began at 10h00 when the aesthetic surgeon lodged a complaint, the surgeon was a Karen friend.

The surgeon complained willful phone calls.

The victim would have said that Karen Mulder liked to make aesthetic operations that the surgeon refused.

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/celebritynews/5697863/Supermodel-Karen-Mulder-arrested-for-threatening-to-attack-plastic-surgeon.html

The supermodel Karen Mulder has been arrested in Paris after allegedly threatening to attack her plastic surgeon.

The 39-year-old was being held at a police station in the French capital following allegedly 'vicious telephone calls' directed at the female medic.

A detective said the caller was thought to have asked for a previous operation to be reversed and "was screaming and shouting about the operation and became extremely threatening.

"There were repeated calls to the female surgeon who was extremely scared. The suspect is being interviewed."

Miss Mulder was being held at a police station in the in the hugely fashionable 8th arrondissement, the epicentre of Paris haute couture where she started her career in the 1980s after winning an Elite model agency talent contest.

She worked for all the big fashion houses including Chanel, Valentino, Céline and Versace.

Dubbed 'The Blonde with Class' by Vogue magazine, Mulder was at one point earning up to £10,000-a-day before officially retiring.

In 2001 She attended a psychiatric hospital suffering from chronic depression, blaming it on drug addiction during her modelling days.

A year later there was a suicide attempt when Mulder overdosed on sleeping pills, but she was rescued by close friends in Paris, who at one point included France's current First Lady Carla Bruni.

Mulder frequently complained about her hatred at 'being photographed' but two years ago briefly returned to the runway alongside Campbell and other supermodel contemporaries including Linda Evangelista and Helena Christensen.

Another police source in Paris said Mudler was arrested at 10am on Tuesday following a complaint from the unnamed surgeon.

Mulder faces a charge of threatening behaviour, but is likely to be released, said the source.

I think that whoever actually performed Plastic Surgery on her should be arrested too! For taking away her beauty :(

I love Karen. She was/is the most beautiful model in the world.

pic on the left has a bad angle + she is wearing no make-up, pic on the right was taken in the early 90s

Yes, agree. Thanks for the link.

There is one thing about that article, and articles like it, that bothers me, though: the "anonymous" author. It cheapens or weakens whatever observations she (or possibly, he, I suppose) makes, and whatever larger point she would like to make. I don't necessarily doubt the contents of the article, but it would be such a stronger piece if it was by an "actual" person whose career and capacity for accurate observation and information could be verified.
