I feel that, most recently, the same thing is happening to South Park. I don't know what other critics feel about the recent South Park episodes yet. Simpsons is declining hell fast. Family Guy is about the same. Still makes me laugh. Sometimes the jokes are a bit lame or cheap, but that doesn't bother me funny thing, i've never even seen an episode of the family guy, but when i was in middle school and high school i was next door neighbors with one of the first directors-to-be for the show (obviously, we were kids so he wasn't part of the show yet).. we used to sit around in the summer and draw our own cartoons (he was always a lot better at it than me!). from what i've heard of the show, i'm pretty sure his own family was a major influence on the characters, especially his father and sister. i guess i should watch some early episodes and see. fun fact about nyc_rocks: i haven't watched television (or even owned a television) in 12 years. you know EVERYONE!!!!!!
