Victoria's Secret to Shoot 2015 Bathing Suit Edition in Puerto Rico

Victoria's Secret this week is filming its 2015 bathing suit edition at several locations in eastern and northeastern Puerto Rico. In a press release, Puerto Rico's economic and trade development department secretary, Alberto Baco, said that the "Victoria's Secret Swimsuit Fashion Show" will be broadcast in more than 190 countries, reaching some 120 million television viewers.

"This is a unique international marketing opportunity for Puerto Rico, both to promote ourselves as a tourist destination as well as to do business and big productions with international scope," Baco said.

The program, which will be broadcast on CBS and other international TV networks, as well as on the Victoria's Secret Web site, will be filmed in natural settings on the islands of Vieques and Palomino, which Baco said will help "millions of people get to know the marvels" available in Puerto Rico. The show will also include images of the island's emblematic sites, and the company's lingerie catalog and Web site will also show photos of the island. The Victoria's Secret production will cost $2 million and has required the reservation of 428 hotel rooms, according to the development department.

Interesting, interesting…thanks for posting! I wonder if they will do this annually and move locations every year? Should be a great business move for the brand. And now I want more details--will there be some equivalent of wings, fantasy bra, etc…their swim line is pretty much 90% Candice so I wonder if the fashion show will reflect that, lol

I think it is the Fantasy Bikini and not the Fantasy Bra Bikini?

 

I am sure people, if they have not already, are making wild assumptions & speculations about this whole thing. They are setting themselves up for disappointment b/c what they have concocted in their minds is not going to be as extraordinary as what it is in reality

So far they have spent $2M on production - that is the same cost as one of the FBs this year. It isn't that much money so I wouldn't assume it is as "big" as it is hyped up to be

From my knowledge they I don't think they've ever done a swim fashion show with legit models or with this much production :notsure:

The fact Maroon 5 is there is a huge distraction from the models. There might also be a lot of BS filler segments. Obviously I hope I am wrong about all this.
