Opinions are opinions, who cares about the little stories there are out there that says adriana isn't pleasent. Even though I've talked to people myself who have met her and they said she was really nice. But anyways. It shouldn't matter because I think she is the most liked atleast lol. she does get her share of hate like everybody else but when it comes to the amount of love she gets, I don't think anyone gets as much as she does.

But about the fantasy bra, I don't think candice is going to get it. Not because I don't like her, not because she isn't my type of model, its just fantasy bra's are unpredictable at times. You never know who will get chosen to get it over some one else.

I would say that Doutzen is probably the only one that isn't really bashed.

Most people on here have moved on from bashing her but she still gets her share on other sites

I don't think people will madly bitch if Candice gets the FB, mostly because most of us know as a fact that she will get it eventually like Adriana, Miranda & Alessandra did, unless she leaves early which i seriously doubt. However i stand by what i said, i don't think she will get it just yet. I feel like for the next couple years the FB will just rotate between Dri, Ale, Doutzen & Miranda. Just as it did between Gisele, Tyra, Heidi & Kk, from 1997 to 2006 (except 1998) those were the only four models to get the Fantasy Bra. I am sure however that out of the not-so-new girls Candice will be the first one to get it, unless goes massively famous which i don't see happening. I still think this will be Doutzen's year or Adriana since it's been a while since she last got it.

But honestly at this point the FB is not even as relevant as it was a few years ago. It barely gets any press, it doesn't get any mention on the show and it gets thrown in the middle of a segment with another dozen of shiny bras so is not like people actually sees the FB and say 'THAT'S THE MILLION DOLLAR BRA', Flavia's outfit in 2010 looked more 'Fantasy' than Adriana's bra and Cameron's outfit was slap in the face to Ale and her Fantasy Bra last year. It's just sad these days, i just wish they stopped doing it at all, it's a waste of money IMO.

And as a fan of Adriana (the most bashed/hated model) i agree with Sav, let people hate. I've been reading shit about Adriana for five years, from people calling her ugly to people saying she's bulimic and depressive

I really wish Doutzen will get the fb this year but I feel she may not be relevant enough in the US for VS to give it to her. I could see them giving it to Miranda and Adriana again before Doutzen.

@MissLimaVZLA, I so agree. It's sad they give some normal models (who alot aren't that great either) more attention then the Angels. I mean Ale got such a loss last year, such bad wings for the outfit, and the panties were tacky and cheap looking. Candice's Circus outfit was more then the bra I think (I think it was 3 million??), VS doesn't really care about the quality of the outfits to make them look luxurious like the golden years (2003-2007), they focus now on prepubescent boys, performers and generally hideous sets.

I am pretty sure either Candice or Adriana will get it. Doutzen will probably get it next year since she will be going to space, and that could get them alot of attention. Miranda, Ale and Adri (2010) were all pregnant before they got their fantasy bras. Nobody's pregnant now, so it's not as significant, they will use their trophy girl (Candice) most likely and give her the bra. And let them, if they stuff up Doutzen's big moment I'll go apeshit.

I don't know, i just don't really see Candice bringing publicity to VS at all, just look at Google trends the last 12 months. I'm doing just the USA because obviously VS gives fuck about the rest of the world atm.

Now, November-December the time of the show. Keep in mind that Candice got three outfits and was the only model who was able to speak about herself in a solo segment, meaning she still got more screentime than the other girls.

Clearly, Miranda & Adriana > The Others. Basically giving Candice the FB right now would pretty stupid from them because people gives fuck about her. Now, you can take Alessandra out of the picture because she got it last year, that leaves Miranda, Adriana & Doutzen. Miranda has done little for VS this year and while Dri & Ale were out, Doutzen was much more used by the company than Miranda. That leaves you with Doutzen & Adriana. Again this used to happen before, every year we thought it would be Adriana or Alessandra because they were all over the catalogues, but it was always someone else, because that someone (Kk, Gisele, Selita, etc) was more popular at the moment. Popularity = Press = Happy VS.

P.S: Add Kate Upton to this & the VS people will probably want to shot themselves for not giving her a contract when they could.

I tried it with Kate Upton, she's like an inch or two higher than Adriana, and that's alot. This has been the past couple of years for Candice and Doutzen

You also need to think who are Candice fans, at least from what i sense from twitter, Tumblr & even BZ most of her fans are teenagers/really young people who never set foot on a VS store (also Erin, Chanel & Behati) and that is probably not VS' main target. What really made think that this would be Doutzen's year is that i really thought VS would push Candice even harder last year while Dri & Ale were out, but Doutzen was the one who step up, she was in every campaign, the launches, the commercials, etc. It was their time to make Candice shine (& honestly i thought Miranda too) yet they decided to push for Doutzen. And i agree with TKC, you do need to keep in mind that every time an important VS catalogue like Christmas, Valentine's or Swim comes out that generates press and since Candice gets the covers she gets the press, so is VS generating press for Candice instead of Candice generating press for VS, i don't know if I'm explaining myself lol

& Kate never bashed VS, she just was like 'Whatever, i didn't even want to walk your show', but she never said anything bad about VS or their people as far as i can remember.

I usually take a look when I come across something. Other than that I cannot say I follow them religious. From what I have read, I think February was a good month. They exceed their goal & projection. They had an increase in sales mainly due to their lingerie brands. Although VSD had a decrease in sales, VS (and its sub-brands) in general and La Senza did well enough to compensate for the hit. BBW and HB both had flat sales, with HB barely making it.

No, I don't follow LTD but I should read their transcripts just out of potential interest. The stock whipsaws too much around a modest range to get me really interested. Also, I don't know enough about this sub-industry to make predictions yet.
