September 1, 200717 yr Hello Miss. I am terribly sorry tohear that you have lost your treasure of pictures in a fire. I understand how you must have had felt back then, because I sometimes think what would I save in a fire ( of course if I have time to cchoose) and probably I would save my archive of pictures rather than othe rthings such as books or cds. Well, I am finally back from holiday. Since I am a teacher I have longer holidays than other people have. I read what you have written about supermodels. I think we are of the same age. I am 40 and I have witnessed the rise and fall of the original supermodels and it is not easy for me to replace them. I was browsing the ebay (but I have never bought anything on ebay due to financial reasons) and I came across some very beautiful Annette pictures. I don't know if you have them. You can see the magazine on ebay and you can bid on it. I wish you best luck in bidding. Here are the pictures.

December 17, 200717 yr that's exactally how i feel. as much as i like some of these girls i don't think any of them have the power in the industry that a real supermodel would have. i don't think anyone working today except, like really working, has earned the right to say "we don't get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day".

December 17, 200717 yr yes thrown around way to easily. These classic supers are my favs and always will be! They were the best and they were "THE supermodels". that's from (what i know) the first time the public eye ever even knew what a supermodel was. because of Linda,Christy,Cindy,Claudia,Naomi etc.....
December 17, 200717 yr Anyone else here think the term "supermodel" is thrown around much too easily nowadays?i do.supers are girls from late 80's until late 90's. today's models can be describes as top models, best payed, most wanted.... but no one can tell me that it's okay to call gisele or adri a supermodel. and i love adriana.

December 18, 200717 yr Author Actually, I think it would be better to put it this way: There were few models like Paulina and Carre, who were huge in the 80’s. The trinity girls were Linda, Christy, and Naomi, and they were the busiest ones. Followed by Claudia and Cindy. In 1993, Kate Moss joined the elite. And there are many girls who were supermodels like: Karen,Helena,Daniela Pestova,Ghauri, Le Bon, Nikki, Nadja, Trish, Tatjana, Tyra, Stephanie, Kirsty,…. But when someone says supermodel the 1st thought on my mind is The Trinity.
