Creepy Joe was accused (almost 30 year old claim) recently. We'll see if the MSM goes after him like they do with others that have opposing ideologies that don't fit the narrative. Tara has been accused of being a Russian asset and she even reached out to Time's Up, but they won't help her cause...................

A sequence of events up to today:

- A British scientist creates a model which projects a significant number deaths.

- Governments and people say "that's scary, we really need to do this social distancing thing".

- As a result of the social distancing, the scientist changes his projections to account for less interactions between people.

- Governments and people say "that scientist says we are safe, we should stop social distancing".

- The scientist has to explain to people that projections are only down because of social distancing. If you end those policies, the projections go up significantly again.

The hardest thing to do is balance the social distancing and starting up the economy. :idk:

Pretty soon (possibly April 1st) a ripple effect is gonna happen which will lead to severe supply chain disruption which will lead to starvation and disease. :idk:

Confirmed figures have massively increased over the past 24 hours- 80K plus infected, over 1,000 dead.  NYC is pretty much the worst place in America now as NY state has half the  US infected, and half of its infected is in the city.  35% of the dead are in NYC alone.

From what I've seen in NJ things have mostly shut down.  Children and Adults in my suburban neighborhood are wandering around in numbers that I've never seen before as they are now either not working or working remotely.  Schools are shut down and playgrounds have been covered in rubber fences.

Kansas City Directorate of Coronavirus Compliance Urges Citizens to Snitch on Their Neighbors…

Citizens within the confined perimeter of the Kansas City metropolitan area are requested to turn in their neighbors for violating the stay at home directives.  Any comrade who wishes to assist the local police may call-in their tips to the Directorate of Compliance.

Kansas City, Kansas, police have created a hotline to report non-essential businesses that are staying open during the metro-wide stay-at-home order.

They’re urging residents to call (913) XXX-XXXX if they see a business they believe is not complying with the order, which went into effect Tuesday. The line is staffed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Police say if a complaint is received, they’ll reach out directly to the business and urge them to close voluntarily. If the business owner refuses to comply, a citation will be issued.

I finished Meditations (4 hours) , all of Epictetus' discourses (11 hours) and approx. 1/3rd of Seneca's material (40 hours)

stoics.png?w=584

Review:  Seneca is by far the best of the primary stoics and his materials are entertainingly written as well.  I think he is now my favorite ancient philosopher.   Aurelius' Meditations is very quotable but it is short - a good entry point in the discipline.   Epictetus was most disappointing- his discourses were overlong and good points took too long to get to them.

Studying stoicism has changed my understanding of the 2000 film Gladiator- the acting of the heroes was based on Stoic virtues and character.
