This is fucked up and I feel for all women (edit: and men... OH VERLANDERRR) involved. Recording yourself in any way that you don't want the world to see is definitely ill-advised at this stage, but it doesn't make invading someone's privacy for your own fapping needs (or monetary gain) any less immoral. 

 

At the same time, the damage is done. Anyone with an internet connection and half a brain will be able to see the pics, so I don't understand the legal hem-hawing. At least celebrities will be able to go on talk shows and magazine interviews and talk about how they felt violated, while keeping their millions of dollars. The average plebe just gets fired and ostracized.

I doubt it. If so, A LOT of women in the fashion world/Hollywood are going to be out of jobs. They'll just get to talk about privacy and how they feel about it, the guy will go to prison. No one is going to fap to them less, they'll fap to them more, and it's a timely media story, none of them are politicians running a campaign based on family values. It's a terrible thing to happen to them and I'm sorry about it, but the only positive thing is that I would be surprised if their careers suffered. If anything, maybe this will engender a little more sympathy for the average joes this happens to (but I doubt it).
