phenobarbie Posted August 2, 2009 Share Posted August 2, 2009 In addition, there's something that has left me a bitter taste, and that I believe it is quite unfair and it is adulterating this game, specially this final, it is that many people (around 7-8) have voted only in the final (they never did it before) and oddly they all have voted for the same model.I could never think that was going to happen, I thought maybe 2 or 3 new people would vote today in the final, but not so many. And I don't know if it would be better only to allow the ones who have already participated any previous day to vote in the final, no matter if it's all the rounds or just 1 preliminary round, but at least one day. Doing this way I believe we would avoid that people who haven't participated all these days decides who's the winner, and more important, we would avoid strange things like some people who send private messages to get votes for their favorite in the final, I'm not saying this has happened today, but I know it does sometimes. What do you think about this??? would you allow everybody to vote the final??? or just the ones who have been participating all these previous days??? I clearly prefer the last option, so we avoid all possible adulterations, and because if we ever do a 2nd or 3rd editions we'd always have the same problem. rotflmao!! Theron What do you mean??? It's not that anyone is asking people to vote a certian way, merely participate on a semi regular basis, not just when your favorite is up, or when it's a finale.You're trying to get accurate scores on who we think is the best or the worst, but when you get a number of fanatical fans who only come in to vote for a certian person it throws the scores off, and you no longer have accurate averages/scores. It's one thing when it's a brand new member... but well, that obviously isn't always the case.Yep, that's it, though instead of accurate I'd say fair or unfair scores, and the final has been clearly distorted this afternoon.I have discovered what has happened, so I am forced not to count all the votes after 12 PM (Paris time) by people who had not participated any day before.This way we have 35 valid votes so far.I'm gonna leave 1 more hour to vote, so it will be 24 hours in total for the final, but now you can only vote if you already have done it any previous day.FINAL DEADLINE: 24h Paris time, 18h New York time.In 1 hour I'll say who the winner is and all the final results and awards. Theron Posted August 3, 2009 Author Share Posted August 3, 2009 Thanks everybody for participating, I hope you enjoyed it as I did.We will probably try to make one with ACTRESSES next september/october, a completely new one instead of the one we cancelled just before starting this.Later, in october/december, we might do a 2nd models edition, you will very surprised to see how different can be one edition to another, in fact the first four editions we did at another forum were won by 4 different actresses.Some people usually change some of their votes just to compensate previous editions, and all the starting categories which say in which round starts every actress/model and the 8 group seeds should be decided by another person, not me, so this way everything changes.As spades24 was the one who helped me the most to make the list of 120 the first days, she could set the categories and choose her 8 favorites then (2nd models edition) if she wants.And we'll see if Gisele is able to keep her title or someone else can defeat her.
