Ophelia_Immortal Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 I've always hated them. They look bad on just about everyone that wears them. Plus; they are not that comfortable Quote
Layla90 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 :yuckky: UGGS are so ugly!I've never worn them, so I don't really know if they are comfortable or not.....but they look disgusting, imo :x Quote
Layla90 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 My Dearly Beloved Joline wears Uggs. Ire do you wear UGGS? thanks God Joline has also other kinds of shoes I especially don't like UGGS, paired with jeans and summer tops, worn on sunny days Quote
azgirl Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 I had those before.. I was not a fan but they were warm when in wet snow. Quote
Crackberry Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 i really like them.they are so comfortable. Quote
TooBoku Posted December 2, 2008 Author Posted December 2, 2008 My Dearly Beloved Joline wears Uggs. ... and you have not been turned off by that? I had those before.. I was not a fan but they were warm when in wet snow. Sorels are warm in wet snow. You can put your bare foot in them and then go walking around in -60'c without feeling the slightest bit cold. i like them & i wear them I'm afraid we can no longer be friends Quote
Lady Fatale Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Oh god, I hate Uggs. :x I always feel like lighting up firecrackers and throwing them at peoples' feet when I see them wearing these hideous things. :yuckky: Quote
TooBoku Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 i really like them.they are so comfortable.walking around the house in my powder blue briefs with the white and red waist band is comfortable. coincidentally, it is also indecent. Quote
buhlack7 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 they are so comfortable.I've said it once... I'll say it again. If comfort is the sole reason to support the validity of your argument, then we should all just burn our boots and heels and start wearing CROCS! Quote
Laffy Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 AHAHAHAHAHAAAAA I LOVE THIS THREAD Toobs, could you get any greater?! Actually. As you can imagine, I hate UGGS. I've never worn them in my life. I'm proud to say this as everyone I know wears them :| One of my best friends dressed up for Halloween as a cowgirl and she wore a flannel shirt (that I lent her), a denim skirt & uggs. So disappointing There's also a girl in my school who wears purple, Ed Hardy uggs... :yuckky: & I wanna throw them in front of a bus. ...Sure, they may be warm, but they sure as hell don't seem water repellent to me so don't wear them in rain. Also, they're WINTER BOOTS and girls wear them with skirts/shorts/dresses/tube tops/tanks etc. Like, what is UP with that?! they are so comfortable. I've said it once... I'll say it again. If comfort is the sole reason to support the validity of your argument, then we should all just burn our boots and heels and start wearing CROCS! Please don't suggest this, Celine! Quote
buhlack7 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 hhahahaah! which makes COMFORT irrelevant! Quote
TooBoku Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 actually, i wouldn't even call them winter boots. the soles don't provide any traction on ice and any salt will ruin the sheepskin pretty quickly. you would go through a can of waterproofer every other week if you seriously intended on using those as an actual functioning winter boot. plus there are plenty of comfortable and functionable alternatives to these poorly fashioned indiginties to a dead animal's skin.quite frankly, sheep skin is better used as a form of birth control rather than a boot that makes your feet look huge and flatfooted. TooBoku Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 don't get me started on the toes or how there is no form at all around the ankle. Quote
Ariesdior Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I agree uggs are ugly but they are really comfy to me and keep my feet nice and warm. Quote
Laffy Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 When the weather is mild enough to wear a skirt/shorts? Quote
