What I found really interesting, that in the first video what Vali posted most of the models talked about the importance of being in a good team, feeling comfortable, being confident and being themselves, but Barbara said she plays a character on shootings like that. I just found that interesting.

I'm tired of all these "sexual" shoots in the industry ! I find it, not disgusting, but not beautiful. It's not sexy, not glamour, not.... Not modeling for me. It's like the photographer said " Let's do it, strike that pose, great. Now guys, you can go fap ".

I really don't like it. ( I feel the same for Kroes, Aldridge etc ones )

When I watch a photo I watch every details & I am happy we do not share the same eyes because that "suggestive pose" you are talking about is the last thing I see in this picture. And to me it's not sexually suggestive at all. Her face and especially her eyes/ gaze are amazing and mores sexual than any "suggestive" pose. She delivers so much with her facial expression, it's simply amazing and I thought she would never be able to do that. So yes, she is becoming a great model and a woman. And "sexual shoot" -as you call it- in the fashion world is what make this same fashion world more interesting and the models less mannequins

ps: I suggest you guys to have a look on Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin work. nudity and sexuality in fashion are not new and they where the masters of it. I Do not want to sound paternalist but it's always good to learn that, fashion is so much more than the bland and photoshoped L'oreal and Victoria's secret's pictures.

For me L'Oreal and VS are not Fashion, it's just really cheap with horrible photoshop.

" less mannequin " is the problem for me. I shot some models after Chanel & Valentino during PFW in September 2014, and that's what is Fashion for me : Haute Couture and Prêt-à-porter. A model who doesn't walk is not a real ( true ) model... Alessandra Ambrosio walks some runways sometimes but she's nothing in modeling compared to girls like Binx Walton, Lexi Boling or the young Yana Van Ginneken. You have 10% chances to see Palvin, Prinsloo or Swanepoel at the PFW, and VS is everything but modeling...

Why should them be less mannequin ? It's their job, they walk. It's better to see them walking every runways during every Fashion Week than strike the pose 1 time per month for some bikinis.

Of course nudity is not new, but it's often disgusting or suggestive. Nudity like Chris Colls do is beautiful, there's nothing sexual... With this W Mag shoot, take a man in the street and ask him what hé thinks about it : he will say that she's pretty hot ( for 85% of people ). This is what is Fashion ? Hot women doing hot things ? No.

I can tell you that I have a very kinky dirty mind and I see nothing dirty or "prostitute like" in that picture,

sexual but not tacky, just sensual.

And the whole photoshoot is kind of an homage of the pin-up of the 70's that were more "rock & roll" and sexual than the one from the 50's. It reminds me Jennifer Janesko art work or Greg Hildebrandt.

I always like her looks in Japan and Korea.
