September 9, 20195 yr Lucky Girl While watching the movie screen what always mesmerizes me about Leo , in any role, are his expressive eyes that speak volumes of dialogue. In the scene with Al at Musso's , you could tell everything he was feeling about Al's words to him via his eyes, and the same was true, after he finishes the Lancer scene with the little girl and he sits there alone and then after he hears the director and Mirabella's comments
September 9, 20195 yr Very nice surprise seeing Leo at TIFF, love his hair Came here and wondered so many new pages, what happened? Thanks everyone for sharing pics, clips, etc

September 9, 20195 yr About Leos look: I'm attracted to this man since I'm 12 and all I can say is there was no time I wasn't attractive to him since then, so... @oxford25 Couldn't agree more about Leo saying more with his eyes than with words as an actor. It's outstanding and making each of his perfomancs so intense!!! Adore that about him One of my favorite scenes ever: The look in his eyes here is always killing me, so full of pain, guilt and lost love #dying
September 9, 20195 yr This person in NY saw Leo at work , I had to laugh when he said the other people were "freaking out" , as I knew that would be me ! Quote Zypher @ProZypher Saw Leonardo DiCaprio at work but didnt want to bother the dude people were already freaking out 1:00 PM · Sep 9, 2019·Twitter for Android Jade Yes, the scene you posted a gif from Inception is a perfect example 👍 Just now when I looked at IG , someone had posted scenes from making of RR , and the scene between Frank and April that morning eating breakfast is another perfect example , Frank's eyes as April spoke to him broke one's heart as you can see he was realizing something was not quite right with her
September 9, 20195 yr Tell me if this is still too early but.... I’ve been looking at post festival Oscar predictions ( I’m sorry I know it’s too early). Anyway here’s where gold derby stood today
September 9, 20195 yr Love this compilation of smiling Leo Jade Glad that Leo and his security stopped those professional autograph people who were shoving what they wanted 'signed' to 'sell' over the front of others there to see Leo AliceT Yes, too early to know who will be in the final BA 5 , but glad to see that Leo is still predicted to be one of them 👍
September 9, 20195 yr Yesterday's introduction of And We Go Green and Leo's part in the making of docu

Am I the only one who think that the way he looked as Calip was as handsome as he looked as Rick ? Edited September 10, 20195 yr by LuckyGirl

Anyway here’s where gold derby stood today I personally think Joaquin Phoenix will win all the awards with his Joker... from what I'm hearing/reading. But what I think it's so special about Leo is that every new performance of him is soo amazing that is always considered award worthy, and it's no different in OUATIH, so him being recognized with the nomination is already great. And I absolutely agree about the power of Leo's eyes, he can say a thousand words just with his expressive and mesmerizing blue eyes.
September 10, 20195 yr ^Feel the same about Phoenix - at least at this point (the movie just won at Venice Film Festival and TIFF). The only thing what could break his legs is that he doesn't give zero shit about those awards aka to less campaign LOL I think it's more likely to see Brad Pitt winning for OUATIH (supporting role) than Leo this time. But of course I can be wrong. I'm all here for Leo winning his 2nd little golden man But like Barbie said already it speaks volumes that most of his performances are always on such a high, praised level

I thought he was handsome even in that get up Thanks Jade, ox, AliceT and LuckyGirl for the posts! So far, regarding awards season, I’m hearing about Joaquin Phoenix possibly, though it’s still early. Leo’s eyes definitely stand out, and can show how his characters feel just by flicking an eyelid, widening his eyes, those eyes, I could get lost in them. That was nice of him to do that for the fans, since those autograph hounds seemed rude.
September 10, 20195 yr Don't forget to vote for Leo: https://pca.eonline.com/movies/the-drama-movie-star-of-2019 And OUATIH: https://pca.eonline.com/movies/the-drama-movie-of-2019

I really hope Joaquin doesn't win because I find him convincing yes but he's been doing the same roles for years and I hate that mysterious vibe that he tries to make really boring and you never really know maybe he will win especially with that physical transformation that he did academy loves these things I wish leo wins for the second time he really deserves it but of course there might be other actors who deserves it more this time we have to wait and see at least leo got his I think an oscar nomination and a golden globe win for leo is fair enough if there was a more deserving actor for the oscar and I think leo is more likely to win a golden globe especially his role might be categorized as a comedy just like what happened in wolf
September 10, 20195 yr Well, I have not seen all Joaquin latest movies, but the ones I saw I think he was amazing, especially in Her, and he's a great actor. As for his personal life, being mysterious or not, Leo is not much different honestly, and it seems Joaquin is doing great, he's now engaged to actress Rooney Mara and seems happy, just my opinion. I think Leo will get nominated for Golden Globes, possibly Oscars too, and he for sure is deserving of any award he might win for OUATIH, but honestly, I think this next season is going to be Joaquin's season, I might be wrong, who knows? but that's how I feel.
