The Los Angeles County Museum today announced that its Art + Film gala, the institution’s annual buddy film starring Hollywood and its creepy yet mildly redeeming younger brother, the art world, will honor director Alejandro G. Iñárritu and artist James Turrell. Iñárritu won an Academy Award last year for best director for Birdman, for which he also won Oscars for co-writing and co-producing. Turrell was recently the subject of a retrospective at LACMA.

The event will be held at the museum on November 7, and is co-chaired by Eva Chow, a LACMA trustee, and Leonardo DiCaprio.

I noticed that the LA Times article about he event stated , so , maybe, it is true they are having test screenings today

DiCaprio stars in Iñárritu's upcoming movie, "The Revenant," which is in post-production and is expected to be released later this year. The movie, based on the Michael Punke novel, is a revenge story set in the 19th century on the American frontier

Wow, this truly is one of the more confusing Leo film shoots I've followed. Well hopefully, Leo indeed has nothing more to film. I'll feel fully confident, once Leo shaves his beard.

Well, perhaps the filming remaining was not with actors, just landscapes, etc... still main actors like Leo and Tom should keep their beards for a possible reshoot. But I guess now with this info about editing the movie and post production it seems to be finally done. Hopefully.    And now I want a trailer!!!
