According to a survey Robert Deniro is considered "the greatest actor" from data collected from IMDB. But Leo was close behind with Clint Eastwood and Charlie Chaplin   :chicken: Impressive!

Robert De Niro beats Clint Eastwood, DiCaprio to become 'greatest' actor

The American actor Robert De Niro has been ranked the greatest actor of all time, beating Charlie Chaplin, Clint Eastwood and Leonardo DiCaprio , according to a new analysis.

The rankings are not based on industry awards but on the number of key roles an actor has had, the Mirror reported.

The survey looked at the top 200 films in terms of overall ranking. Follow ups were excluded so that each movie "franchise" counted only once towards an actor's total. Moreover an actor also had to have a leading role in the film - judged by whether they were one of the first 5 names in the acting credits.

'The Godfather' star scored a total of seven for his roles in 'Goodfellas,' 'Once Upon a Time in America,' 'Taxi Driver,' 'Raging Bull,' 'Heat,' 'Casino,' and the 'Deer Hunter,' that gave him a clear lead over his 3 closest rivals, who tied on five.

Hope you can see him.

I think this little review of The Revenant screening was not posted, really nice words on this one.

Call of the Wild

Shot deep in the Canadian tundra by Oscar-winning cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki (who did things the hard way, utilizing only natural light for the production), footage from The Revenant played out with nary a word of dialogue and didn’t so much lay out the film’s plotline as scene-set its action within a specific milieu. DiCaprio is some kind of old timey mountain man with long, lank hair, a wardrobe of funky furs and leather pelts who’s handy with a musket in a gunfight. The audience was treated to scenes of DiCaprio fording frozen streams, doing hand-to-hand combat with fellow buckskin wearing frontiersmen and shooting at people from horseback. It played as both profound and populist: a kind of prestige popcorn movie with the potential to appeal at both the art house and the multiplex.
