I don`t know if this is legit or not   :notsure:

Just got back from an advanced screening!
It was fantastic! I would actually put it up there with some of Scorsese's best films! Although, I'm not sure how critics are going to react to it. It's defiantly a dark comedy (and I mean DARK), but also can easily be classified as a crime drama. I haven't read the book so I can't comment on closely it follows to the actual events, but it was very well written and the performances were fantastic! Leo was crazy here and in someways his role kinda reminded me of him in Django Unchained. Regarding the possibly delay of the film, I don't think it has to do much with the runtime. For those wondering, the cut we saw ran about 3 hours, but it felt much shorter than that. It is VERY graphic though (a good amount of full frontal female nudity and graphic sex scenes, there was also a really violent scene as well) that it is possibly it could receive an NC-17 from the MPAA. Fantastic film though and I can't wait to see it again!

Thanks ToniGarrnMania for the new pics! and Ox for Johanna's kind words

LeoLover: Love that review :chicken: hope its a legit review.. saying its up there with some of Scorsese's best is very exciting to hear

Thanks for the review. :)

WOW, that review is amazing, thanks Leo lover.

thanks for the new pics. Seems Leo loves that shirt and Toni is wearing his blue one? :hehe:

Also nice to hear that the 3 hours went good, maybe Scorsese don't need to cut the movie that much. Hopefully will be released this year, fingers crossed.
