Leo appeared to be having the time of his life while flying above the ocean using the machine.

 

The Hollywood hunk was sure to wear a protective vest and helmet just in case he landed back in the water a bit harsher than expected.

 

A source tells E! News that Leo "tried the device for a half an hour before calling it quits" and that he and his group of pals spent around five hours on the water
