December 18, 20204 yr Thanks Lilja, ox, Barbie and Jade for the posts! Seeing the pics of Leo and Margot, I'll think I will watch WOWS again

December 19, 20204 yr ^Kleo are a next level 😍 Some blogs of tumblr claiming Titanic (the movie) is getting 23 years old so here one of my favorite scenes from the movie: Source Leo aka Jack is like "b!tch said what???!!!" in the last gif. Dying every time over his expression here Personally I think his perfomance in this movie is kinda underrated. I mean, yes Jack is a bit blank character - "just" the good guy - but what I like about this role is that Leo as an actor has nothing to HIDE here. No inner demons, no psycho drama, no inner ticks or agonizing behavior ... just a young man full of life, positive vibes and love. Personally I think he did a phenomenal job bringing Jack Dawson to life. Beside from this he's probably the only fun character Leo ever played. With fun I mean the charming, caring, no personal drama just lovable guy LOL Source I mean look at him he's freaking adorable Source Source And hot Another favorite scene: For me Rose is one of the most iconic feminist movie characters EVER. Proof me wrong! Source Rose to literally everyone: f*ck you!!! Source LOL Source Rose to Jack: f*ck me! She's the one who decided over her body! So again fu*k you to all those men who think otherwise! Source I see this post is again much longer as it supposed to be (I just love this movie so much it really changed my life in so many ways) so I finish with one of my favorite movie scenes EVER Leos face is killing me here. Look at the love and the pain he's feeling. He's outstanding here! The fact Leo improvised most of the parts (like Kate lifting up in the air while letting all his emotions out) makes this scene even more precious. Still got goosebumps while watching it. Camerons version: Leos version: Isn't it so much better??? Can't put in words how much I adore him as an actor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
December 19, 20204 yr It's funny because even though Titanic was the first movie I saw of Leo and certainly I do like the movie, it's a great movie, but I don't have all this love and nostalgia about it. Yes, Jack and Rose are lovely but IDK, Titanic is far behind on my list Leo fave movies.
December 19, 20204 yr Jade: Yes the scene where Rose jumps back from the lifeboat and their hug there is also my favourite scene. It's so emotional. And both Leo and Kate acted so great. Can't believe it has been 23 years. I feel old😬
December 19, 20204 yr Thanks to all for Leo pix & vids Definitely agree that Leo has great natural chemistry with both Kate & Margot on and off the screen
December 20, 20204 yr Imdb is jumping on that train too: Source I really have to think about it. I didn't saw Titanic back in theatres '97/'98 because I was too young, but I saw it once in 2000 and 2 times 2012 in 3D. So not that much at least not in cinema What about you guys?

Good question Jade I was a fan who didn't see Titanic right away. I was a teenager at the time and I just wasn't really interested in seeing Titanic, even though Leo was in it, because I assumed it was just about the sinking and I already knew the history of it. If anything, everyone assumed the film would be a big bomb. I don't recall Titanic being released as this big thing. It quickly became a big thing, though. At first, it was everywhere. Any reference, TV special on Titanic, it was right there. Leo got the most fame from it. Kate got some of it too, but she was spared most of the harshness, I think. It was a well-liked and loved film, and Leo was really everywhere . Then the bashing began, because it was the huge thing. Leo took the brunt of it. Anyone who hated Titanic seemed to really hate him. He was lumped in with anyone who was popular that year (Backstreet Boys, etc.) as nothing more than a fad really, and was burned for it. There were sites that were so threatening I believe someone could get arrested today. The only celeb who maybe had it worse with hate was Britney Spears, since she was a teenage girl. Now that the film has lasted through time, being over 2 decades now, I think more people show appreciate for the film, hence all of the anniversary stuff, even from sites who once hated Titanic! That's my take on it
December 20, 20204 yr Not quite sure if I've seen this pic before: Source: insta HQ Thx @SexyLeo91 for the response It's so silly to hate a person you doesn't even know LOL But yeah, happened all the time till today.

I feel like a kid cuz Titanic older than me😅 @SexyLeo91 I don't get how can someone hate Titanic... I want to say that's not my favourite Leo's movie but I think that's a great movie and I definitely enjoyed it. Leo and Kate were wonderful.
December 20, 20204 yr Hi I was 14 when Titanic came out and was already Leo obsessed. I watched it several times but almost always with one of my parents. Think I saw it in theaters when it came out about 3-4 times.
December 21, 20204 yr Quote A Timeline of Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio's Epic, Adorable, Award-Winning Friendship It's been 23 years since Titanic, but these two still aren't letting go – and neither are we 1 of 18 Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio met in 1996 while filming the blockbuster Titanic, playing one of the most iconic couples in cinematic history: Rose Dewitt Bukater and Jack Dawson, star-crossed lovers who met on the ill-fated Titanic in 1912. The two weren't friends before filming, but they knew of each other – enough for Kate to have her eye on Leo. In a 1998 interview, she admitted: "My god, did I want to Leo to play that part." December 21, 20204 yr Another anniversary of one of Leos films: Back then I watched GONY 3 times in cinema. I liked it better than "Catch me if you can" which I only saw once in theatres. Not sure how I felt about it today. CMIYC is probably the better movie but I never really got into it, god knows why. Any other thoughts?

December 21, 20204 yr Thanks Jade for the articles and yes, I remember seeing the trailer for GONY and how fine Leo looked in it 😍! It was different because it wasn't just the 'he's so cute' but more. He was sexier to me at that moment. I saw GONY with a friend of mine and I didn't even think about CMIYC, which was released on Christmas Day, because I was too excited about GONY. Back then, my family and I celebrated on Christmas Eve, so I decided on Christmas to check out CMIYC. Turned out, I liked it so much, that I stayed for the second show . Even in this film, Leo was no longer just in the 'he's really cute' category. What really stood out for me, though, was for the first time really seeing Leo's versatility in both roles and seeing what a great character actor he really is. It was cool reading everyone's responses and thanks for sharing your Titanic experiences!

It was before the James Bond movie with Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry (can't believe I watched it in cinema but whatever lol). I swear to god that moment Leo showed up at the big screen the whole room was collapsing like "oh dear god not that silly Titanic boy again" It was a really harsh moment but I was so happy to finally see Leo after such a long time I didn't care the resentment against him. I'm such a fangirl when it comes to this man
