He explained to me that Rimbaud was the James Dean of his time . . . I did the movie, and I loved playing him. If I just waited for moments of 'I have to do this,' I would do a movie only every four or five years."

The bit about Leo , if he were to direct, directing like Clint,etc was all part of the excerpt I posted under the two GQ pix,

The INF story that claimed that Bar was worried about running into Leo & Blake at Darby

To me the entire beginning of story was creative writing just to 'grab attention' to the article with the idea of a possible Leo/Blake/Bar encounter. . As we now know that Blake was on West Coast filming "Savages" this weekend, and Leo was spotted in several well known Sydney clubs this weekend, plus he was just spotted having dinner with Tobey last night. I think the writer went with The Darby being the supposed club where the duo were because they knew Leo/Blake fans probably all remember a sighting of the duo there this past summer, so you then have more of a tendency to believe they could be there again.

Also in regard to your comment below, what I always remember about Leo and a bathroom is when he did an interview with Movieline years ago, and the female writer mentioned that Leo didn't close the door when he went to use bathroom. And when she commented on it , he mentioned that when he was growing up in the house it was just him and his Mom, so he wasn't used to closing the door

Oxford I also agree with you about the Darby thing as was said before it's just more interesting a story to put Leo and Blake in the title. Same thing with the whole Prince Harry thing

I realize you meant after 1997 and Boogie Nights was happening around the same time as Titanic so I need to come up with something else lol. probably the role Leo was rumoured to do in Inglorious Basterds the one that Christoph Walt had. Except atleast in Django we are more or less going to see him play a bad ass as well

loll yeah I remember them saying that too, that him and angelina just had a quickie in the shower, and they didn't really have chemistry, but they just did it anyway.

Also agree about the Leo and Blake Darby story. It seems now it was just put in the title to make a story to have people come and read the story of Bar there the other night, because I don't think many people would have otherwise read it!

As to my earlier question , I think Leo would have been great in either part in "The Talented Mr Ripley."

And while I wasn't a big fan of "Benjamin Button", he would have been the perfect choice, as he is truly is the one actor who seems to be

getting younger with each passing year

Plus, I don't know if you remember , but just yesterday you were lamenting that we hadn't had any new Leo news or pix in recent days. I guess Leo read your comment and thought, "Just wait, Fash, to you see my GQ spread !"
