May 28, 200717 yr Are you planning on leaving for good? :| just temporarily to do work assignments are due in thick and fast <_< don't leave ed! you're not here as much you used to be either Good. You better not leave for good! :persuazn: I know where you live, remember... :|
May 29, 200717 yr i know, i know but i have exams! for about a month or so.but this place rules! and i'll try to pop in more often lol... ...stay stay stay  you need to stay around. Acmilan isn't even back to taunt me it seems thick and fast <_< HA HA HA! Good. You better not leave for good! :persuazn:I know where you live, remember... :| :| Hey Ed, how do you feel about the Pool going for Tevez? (Presumably) A striker that can score goals? That wouldn't be the Liverpool way I'm excited about Malouda and hopefully Simao. Alves and Gaby Milito would be very good as well
May 31, 200717 yr Well they don't exactly have strength in depth I'm still wondering how they went through a whole season playing the same starting XI :| Anyway, Hargreaves is planned to be Scholes' successor and Nani for Giggs I assume. Anderson would probably be a striking option or play behind the striker like how Giggs sometimes plays. They just need a striker and a defender as well.
May 31, 200717 yr Hargreaves for Scholes? Wouldn't it make more sense to let Carrick play the Scholes position?
June 1, 200717 yr Hargreaves for Scholes? Wouldn't it make more sense to let Carrick play the Scholes position? Carrick doesn't have the same attributes though. Carrick sits in front of the back 4 and scoops up the loose balls. He sits back and distributes the ball and he does it well. He doesn't have the shot, the aggression, the tackle of Scholes. He doesn't run around and do as much work as Scholes would. I'm not sure how Hargreaves would fit into that mould either though
June 1, 200717 yr Scholes is a terrible tackler. And Carrick's shot is decent. Perhaps not as good as Scholes, but then, it's not like there's another Scholes out there.
June 2, 200717 yr I think Scholes has a decent tackle. I mean yes, he misses a lot of the time (over a decade playing European futbol and he still doesn't learn ) but at least he gets stuck in and makes his presence felt Good for the English game I guess Carrick's got some good shooting boots... Another Scholes out there? no there's not *hides replicating machine* I'd say Deco or Xavi would be your best bet now that Gerrard doesn't play CM <_< Who's your fav Barca midfielder? I can't decide and you better not say Albelda :persuazn:
June 2, 200717 yr Mancs. one day. Hargreaves :| Anderson  Nani  That's crazy! I know! It's mental. Never really seen much of Nani before, do you reckon he's worth the £17million price tag?
June 2, 200717 yr Meanwhile in Istanbul... Galatasaray are literally falling APART. The coach Eric Gerets has been sacked, Inamoto has quit, Mondragon has been released... ...also the construction company who wants to build our new stadium is about to pull out ...we have NO money At this rate we'll barely have eleven players to field next season!

Never really seen much of Nani before, do you reckon he's worth the £17million price tag? I'm not sure any youngster is worth that much but they are talented, that's for sure. What's more, both Anderson and Nani are big and fast. So they're already half way there in terms of fitting into the Premier League. They just have to learn to play the English way.

The coach Eric Gerets has been sacked, Inamoto has quit, Mondragon has been released... ...also the construction company who wants to build our new stadium is about to pull out ...we have NO money At this rate we'll barely have eleven players to field next season! Sounds really bad :| I hope you don't have to go into administration or anything Albelda better come to Nou Camp if we lose Eto'o to the Pool! :persuazn: You're going for Sissoko as well apparently <_< :persuazn:
June 3, 200717 yr Just watched the first 30 minutes of the England vs Brasil game and it is rough. Brasilians get hacked and chopped and no whistle, but once and English player falls to the ground all hell breaks loose. I expected more from Merk And the bit where Kaka was playing 1-2s with everyone and Carra tried to use his hands to get the ball was priceless
