September 19, 20177 yr It's a great movie about some unpleasant realities. @ tania No, it had to do with the bad, extremely selfish behavior of his wife and how he (who was the average 'nice guy' to begin with) was de-masculinized by his office job and his own family. He was suffering from male depression and the mid-life crisis.
