Meggie Foster (aka Meghan Foster) is an English actress and voice artist based in London. She graduated from Arts Ed London in 2016. She's with Dawn Sedgwick Management.
  4. Good intentions are never a good justification. Science and knowledge are much better than good intentions. Sometimes, they're wrong, but unlike good intentions, they're trying to be right. That's why we need more people like Debra Soh.

  9. She was really classy. I really liked the haircuts in the 90s. Cindy Crawford was great and very glamour too.
  10. That's one of the most ridiculous conspiracy theories...... People are out of their minds and celebs are the worst. What you say is batshit crazy, Jamie Lee Curtis.
  11. That's terrible... but somehow it looks like a good old Darwinian selection (I know, it's mean to say that... ). How can these people believe that drinking bleach can help them? The level of gullibility! Anyway, I'm fairly convinced that these people are like 0.xx% of the population. Unfortunately, these articles lay the foundations for these types of reactions: As usual, 99+% of the population gets punished because of the behavior of <1%. And as usual, the oligopolies always use "good intention" to reduce our liberties.

This kind of stories really makes me angry.

  15. There are lots of historical fiction in the French comics (I guess that's what the readers like - maybe some form of nostalgia), but there's also sci-fi, humour, fantasy, fantastic, zombies, etc. It depends what you mean by "conservatism" (Nostalgia? Maybe. Graphic conservatism? It depends on the book). What I dislike is when they try to mix the wrong kind of humour with certain genre. Here are two examples of quality French comics, that you might like: https://www.lelombard.com/bd/nietzsche/nietzsche https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/21469096-last-man => this one also had an animated serie associated with it:
  16. I don't know the indie company much, but I know the two market leaders: Marvel and DC, and they've gone completely crazy. Both of them. There are many examples, but the biggest ones are the New "New Warriors", Gotham High and in general Marvel writers are complete nutjobs (a lot of them are former journalists and they biggest loonie of them all is probably Dana Schwartz). They face some backlash (mostly the new warriors), but (at least before covid) the oligopoly didn't seem to care about it. The creativity of Marvel/DC has plummeted. Mangakas are much more creative than them IMO. Which ones have you read? There are also lesser known mangas (I guess you could call them Indies). Some of the new ones are very original. Manga is a fierce market with a real meritocracy behind it. Some mangaka literally started in their basement and got promoted thanks to their readers. Some of them started on the internet with webcomics. My understanding of the comic industry is that the market leaders strongly influence the market. I'll have a look.
