Why do rich Hollywood stars mostly vote for the democratic candidate (I know not all of them do, but I always feel like most do; at least I can't remember anyone campaigning for Bush or Trump lol). Is it just for PR and if so what for or are those political motivations sincere what do you think?

I think I like it so far- Last movie you saw...
I'm still on my Star Wars in "chronological order" watch mission (but I already cheated đ) However I like this one A LOT.... (it was just fun and damn Alden Ehrenreich is handsome đ overall great cast) same for this one (Mads Mikkelsen is breaking me... in a freakin Star Wars movie... đ genius actor, overall a brilliant cast again) but how is this movie a classic????????????????????????????? @Lilja K @Cult Icon It's hilariously bad. Clunky dialogs, TERRIBLE stiff acting from every single cast member, everyone looks and moves so weirdly confused like they had no clue what the hell they're actually doing. I mean I'm aware this movie was made in the 70s (different time, different possibilities, even though technically the movie looks just fine to me for past standards) but everything else was just painful to watch (kids who are threatened with beatings if they don't obey, women with barely any dialogue standing to cook in the kitchen, the "hero" constantly mocking Leia for her "dumb female" lead), I'm still amazed I made it somehow through the whole mess đ€Ł And the Star Wars fanboys mourning the times when this franchise was... less female driven but bullying a little boy for years for not just "ruining" the Anakin character but the beloved universe when every failure on this once again comes to sloppy writing and directing from George Lucas? This fandom deserves every single woke movement ever made imo Sorry Jake for a ruined childhood.- Trumpland U.S.A
@Lilja K âThe Apprentice' Producers Absolutely Want to Release Trump Film Before the Election Another update on Ali Abassiâs âThe Apprentice.â Itâs being reported that James Shani, who is one of the filmâs producers, is leading a group to buy out Dan Snyderâs Kinematics stake in âThe Apprenticeâ. They want to get rid of Snyder, who is blocking U.S. distribution, to release the film right before the 2024 election in November. According to insiders, the producers are offering Snyder $7M to settle on an agreement. Upon settlement, the producers would then be able to speed up the pending deal agreement they have with Tom Ortenbergâs Briarcliff Entertainment for âwide release before the election.â The film features a much-discussed scene where Trump rapes his former wife Ivana. Snyder wasnât too thrilled about the scene. In May, Variety reported that Snyder, who is a friend of Trumpâs, first saw a cut of the film in February and was absolutely furious. This didnât stop the film from premiering at Cannes where it was met with, mostly, positive reviews. According to her 1993 autobiography âLost Tycoon,â Ivana made the rape accusation in a divorce court statement, but later clarified her earlier words, noting that she did not mean them in âa literal or criminal sense,â adding she âjust felt violatedâ at the time. Almost every Hollywood studio declined to distribute âThe Apprentice,â but when producers finally thought they had secured an interested U.S. partner, Briarcliff, Snyder vetoed the deal. Whether Snyder agrees to this deal remains to be seen, but it is of the utmost importance for these âApprenticeâ producers to have the film shown right before the 2024 election âŠ- Daisy Edgar-Jones
If this movie is going to bomb than Hollywood is in really serious trouble. @Lilja K Box Office: âTwisters' Might Be in Trouble â Tracking at $35M-$40M Opening Iâm looking at the latest tracking numbers for âTwistersâ and they donât look good. Right now, Lee Isaac-Chungâs film is set to open anywhere between $35M-$40M next weekend. The budget for this one is said be around $200M. Of course, weâre still three days away from Thursday previews, and Universalâs marketing machine will go on overdrive these next 72 hours. Stay tuned.- Trumpland U.S.A
