Interview from W magazine website: Being the new girl on the block can be tough. Czech stunner Bara Holotova, 18, knows this well. Although the Pilsen native was signed with IMG in 2007, she spent much of the last two years struggling to make a name for herself in smaller fashion scenes like Tokyo and Barcelona. “I didn’t do big shows,” she recalls, “just small designers.” But all that changed when Miuccia Prada came calling, personally handpicking Holotova as an exclusive for Prada and Miu Miu fall 2009. With that stamp of approval, casting directors and stylists definitely took notice, including our own Alex White, who nabbed her for Craig McDean's "100% Fashion" portfolio and Claudia Knoepfel and Stefan Indlekofer's L’Après-Midi. Where are you on vacation? I haven’t seen my family in such a long time, so I’m just chilling with them. I’m actually in Prague right now visiting my sister and her boyfriend. We’ve been going to dinner and watching movies. We just saw “The Hangover.” It was so funny, and Bradley Cooper is so cute! I saw him at the CFDA Awards, and I was like “Oh my God!” You’re planning to relocate to New York soon; what part? I’m looking in the Financial District. It’s so nice down there! Because I’m not from New York, it’s been really hard to get a place. I’m hoping the agency will be able to help. Are you excited about the move? I love New York; it’s such a cool, crazy city. It’s so different from home. I really like walking around in Central Park and hanging out in SoHo. Plus my best friend [model] Ethan James lives there too. I was just doing fittings for Prada a month before the show; I didn’t even know I was going to walk. At the time, I thought it was really a hard job because I had to stand all day like a figurine with all these fabrics and high heels. I didn’t even know if I could do it, but then Miuccia picked me! I was so surprised. When the agency called to tell me, I was like, “You’re joking, right? This is a dream!” Do you have a relationship with Miuccia now? At the beginning, she didn’t know me, and I didn’t know her. But then I got sick and she said, “Just go home and relax for a few days. We need you in a few weeks [for the show], so just rest.” It was really nice and motherly of her. And then after the Miu Miu show, she found me backstage and told me what a good job I did. I’m running and riding the bike all the time. I’m not really a fan of working out, but it’s fun sometimes. You’ve been singled-out as one of the new girls to watch for spring 2010. How does that feel? Actually, I’m kind of scared because everyone expects a lot from me. You just never know. I’m pretty excited, though. We’ll just have to see what happens.

Mostly black and whites that are from various shoots over the years that have become part of the brand history-I am really honored when I see this anything from this collection because it says the image did more than just sell product, they are part of the overall image Russel James fb page.

And as I turned the corner I see Doutzen Kroes had to guard the avenue as well as 58th street. Doutzen Kroes has the job of watching over the street from the Victorias Secret store front on 58th Street. Don’t ever challenge her to a hand-stand competition by the way-the defeat is humiliating. ^ i adore that photo ‘The Girls’. Its rare to get to shoot more then one girl in a shot. On this occasion it was four and we did the shot in a few minutes . Chanel, Rosie Hunitington, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton-A pretty impression quad and a lot of fun to work with.

I wasn't dissing Rosie, im dissing the director. he is making the same mistake he did with Megan, Choosing a pretty face with no talent. i NEVER said Megan was talented. she really isn't . Rosie may be a good actress, i really have no clue but...i guess we will all find out soon....

I don't really know how i feel about this. Is she even a good actress? I mean she has like the thickest english accent you can get, so is she gonna be able to talk with an american one? I wonder if VS will drop her if she does accept the role the only thing im worried about is that Michael Bay is just picking a pretty face over talent. I do like Rosie, but she is no Megan Fox.

^ Thank goodness for your posts! , getting off this battle of that contest thing. im a die-hard candice fan, i'll tell you now. i adore her. so im annoyed she didn't become first place, cause in my eyes she should always be first or (emanuela ) and yeh...and it jsut sucks cause she lost to brooklyn, who is quite frankly rather average all you brookie lovers may hate on me now ....
AWWW. i saw it in my local newsagents, but cause i live in England, i guess it had to be imported, so it was rather pricey so as much as i love Randa, i decided not to get it. cauise i did not enjoy the ID photoshoot, she looked pale and dunno- just not my thing.

Well...ive been modelking for sometime now...but i have a super exiciting thing coming up for a hairdresser's... HIHI HI, so about my shoot coming up...its in a busy town centre, there are only 12 models ,, over 200 models applied to do it, no joke.- some, being male models, i met them today for a practice so hot. anyways.. im gonna be dresses in 1940's wear and like you can walk done the runway and pose however you want (im gopnna blow a kiss or something, haha VS style.) and then there are about 20 dancers...who do a small performance && then the models do the runway again im so excited but nervous! , i can't wait to see the photos and stuff. when ive done it, i will post the photos & behind the scenes shots. it is next friday. im getting paid lots and there is gonna be a photo of me outside the salon's window and around the huge shopping center it is in- but overall im just doing it because im sure it will be fun If none of you care about this then i jsut really embarrsed myself.
