I want to watch it too, but for different reasons. My main motivation is that I want to see how Nolan explores the concept of War through the cinematic lens. Having watched TDK series its clear to me where he stands on the political question at least(ie very much to the right of Reagan/Thatcher)

^Wow!! I must admit, I mistook this guy for just another boring scumbag. THis unholy alliance was certainly not the brainchild of Soviet/communist scheme, but rather an Anglo-American (and more recently Israeli) endeavor.
