The Past - Another great movie by Asghar Farhadi, he seems unbeatable right now. His stories always start off slightly confusing and even mundane, and then punch your feelings in the nuts by the end of the movie. Very believable characters with believable motivations and Farhadi is clearly interested in looking at all sides of morally ambiguous dilemmas, which I really enjoy. A+ all around. Berenice Bejo and Tahar Rahim also make one of the best-looking couples ever.

I HATE when models do this, and a huge majority of them do. I get that it creates an illusion of an ass from the side profile (for the uninitiated) but it makes their butts look terrible and long and weird from behind. Just stand like a normal human ffs.

I agree with pheno that SI is trying to target more females and therefore has to find a balance between the sexbombs and the HF models. However, for me, I think they are skewing too close to too many HF models, or even just too many non-HF who still don't bring the goods (ie, body). Re: Charlotte, pretty much everyone was saying the same about Upton's face when she first showed up, in fact I'm pretty sure the term "porn star" got thrown around for some reason (btw I think it's a ridiculous criticism but let's not forget that we know from her personal photos that Kate didn't exactly employ the most um, non-Playboyish of poses and expressions back then), and I don't think there's anything inherently cheap-looking about her face in shots like this or . I think about 95% of it is styling and photography. My issue with Charlotte is I think we have enough Aryan pinups/blonde bombshells in SI already... there are thousands, probably millions, of women who have amazing bodies and pretty enough faces but could add some variation. Could we get some pale brunettes, or some redheads or something? Where are the Cintia Dickers of yesteryear?? Or even more radical.. what about a model with a really nice ass? Like, a really really nice one? That'd be a wild departure, lol. P.S. Playboy really has been getting their act together in the past 5 years or so... would not mind seeing an Alyssa Arce type in SISE, even if it's just to see people implode and go crazy talking about how "cheap" and "vulgar" it all is.

We could all learn a thing or two from Christian Bale, lol! But I think that landing multiple Vogue covers and working with some of fashion's biggest names are still more prestigious than starring in critically panned romcoms. I also think at this point the fashion industry is more likely to be accepting of her figure than casting directors,especially since being a tall female isn't quite the same advantage in film as it is in fashion.

I'm surprised they managed to keep it private this long. I guess it goes to show ya these celebs who constantly complain about always getting papped that it is possible to fly under the radar. Two of the biggest stars in the world and are barely ever even seen. Anywho I'm still kinda pissed. It was supposed to be me. not Eva. Damn it lol, I had the same reaction. One time I saw him perform live when he was doing the band thing... we made eye contact briefly after the show, so I felt like things were getting pretty serious? What went wrong between us?
