I hope Doutzen sticks around long enough to get a fantasy bra! But isn't she going to space next year? If she will still be here I could totally see them doing a Space Fantasy Bra...that could be really good actually. But I feel like she will be gone by then and might just her contract expire in the spring VS sucks for not giving it to her.

And why did they blow their entire budget on a $10 million bra only to have B-list performers + Taylor Swift, have no runway decoration and instead use a damn projector, and not afford to be able to make new shoes for PINK?

Wings are still a possibility I think, but not a certainly. Looking at the last six or seven bra's, they have gone with and without wings. I was thinking like robe and sceptre...I mean VS loves to go over the top

I actually really like Karlie's outfit--all the outfits for the opening section, to be honest. I don't think her lingerie goes well with the psychedelic theme, thought, it's really dainty for that. Glad to hear Doutzen's opening a section.

Does anyone remember how many newcomers they had last year?

This is everything that I had wanted to say--thanks for putting it so eloquently. I mean the VSFS is probably the majority of the reason we even know who she is and are discussing her now in the first place--it's hard to deny that it would have helped her career, regardless of how you feel about the show itself or Victoria's Secret as a company. But I am beating a dead horse here and we should probably move on from discussing this, so I'll say I look forward to seeing where she goes, and hopefully she will be doing good work in the next few months!

Yeah they have cold-shouldered several of their regulars this year. I mean here she is on the damn VS homepage:

^Nah I don't think she's 'A-list' enough. I am really curious as to who they picked and to who will even fit the segments well. I don't think they will announce it until Tuesday, when someone will spill the details anyways at the dress rehearsal.

^^Yep, I mean Gracie was in Paris for the commercial and frequently shoots with them; Barbara is the cover of their holiday catalogue and all over their website, yet I don't think either of them made it to the fashion show. I'm not sure if Toni is in either. And they did the same with Sara last year. I know the VSFS isn't about moving product like print work is, so again, I get it. But it's kind of sad that the girls doing the work all year don't get that big publicity at the end. Anyway, I know Shanina had a casting at DVF yesterday, so I hope it went well!

I always thought her walk was good. It looked good last year, and I know she has some experience with HF runway as well: she's done Jason Wu, Nanette Lepore, etc. Not an HF queen, however. I think it's more that VS likes to give themselves street cred by getting girls who are HF regulars or 'it girls,' either editorially or during fashion weeks. I guess objectively it makes some sense that they would have faith in those girls on the runway. They only leave so much room for mainly print models, and I think the only open spot there got snagged by Sara this year. I think that is why Irina still hasn't made it and part of why Barbara Palvin didn't make it as well.
