IDK what you're talking about with respect and stature. I just don't get what was said by 'on par...' that is vague. But they are both great models. We will agree to disagree. Well, let me be more clear. Candice is now the unquestioned #1 model in the VS stable and will be for some time to come. Adriana, who is still top of the line, once held this status, but does not any longer. Thus, Candice should be provided every top of the line marketing opportunity that is available. Not only is it good for VS, but it grows Candice's brand as well. It should be a two-way relationship. Having her Fantasy Bra or any major marketing opportunity concerning her fantasy bra attached to another model is clear violation in my book. If Adriana is in fact wearing what is supposed to be Candice's fantasy bra, then apparently not. But again, we will agree to disagree.

Until a clearer picture emerges or I see the actual show, I will withhold my final judgment. I say the odds of it being a replica are 50/50. I've made the comparison as best I could, and like you pointed out, some things don't add up. Why not wait until she gets back to start a publicity campaign? The VSFS isn't until Dec 10th. Is Adriana really on par with Candice at this point? Don't get wrong, I love Adriana and always will. She is still bad as hell. However, the new queen has no need of a supporting cast. Candice is now their biggest star and should be treated as such. Candice is super sweet and likely won't argue, so feel its up to us to do so. In apologize for my ranting and personal offense, but I think its warranted in this case. I'm not sure that's the question to ask...I would say "Is Adriana used for VS as much as Candice at this point?" We can agree to disagree, but I think it is just the question to ask. Don't use fashion weeks as a standard! Mostly newcomers and no-names do that for filling the spots between models who are actually trending in high fashion. Just think about it how many models don't do shows, who are otherwise very succesfull! I more meant that fashion week can give you more visibility among designers, that's all.

The amount and quality/prestige of her work has been steadily decreasing, especially in the last 4 months. And her VS pics are great, but they use her sporadically and are notoriously fickle. If they grab onto her, that'd be fantastic, but I don't think anyone should hold their breath for that. That said, I think the VSFS is a great way to 'get her name back out there,' as it were--especially for someone who has been skipping fashion weeks for 2 years. There is always someone willing to take your spot in the modeling industry.

I don't understand what's going on. I am bored to tears by all these commercials...I think I almost fell asleep in 15 seconds. It the state of the modeling industry right now just that no one stands out? Because I'm getting 'sexy' from a grand total of 0 of all these new girls. If Lindsay is an angel, Martha certainly has the potential to become one. Anyone does.

Yikes. Candice went on and on in that behind the scenes about how it was specially molded to her body, oops. And I thought Miranda went on the show with the bra but didn't wear it. IDK I'm not sure anyone has ever worn someone else's fantasy bra. Also that commercial is an absolute mess. Why is Candice's hair in retro curls and Martha's looks like she just got out of the shower? Why did they film in Paris only to film the entire thing indoors? And what even is that music choice ?

I'm sure VS had to approve them using the fantasy bra, regardless of whether or not the show chose Adriana. And maybe it's just a replica? IDK that's a pretty grainy picture. Because if it's a female performer, she needs to do her fitting with Todd Thomas since he does the outfits for them. And whoever it is also needs to do the rehearsals with the models and with everyone VS contracts (gymnastic, dancers, etc) and i think there's two days of rehearsals, first with the dancers & blablabla and the day before the show with everyone including the models. So the EMA's are on the 10th, meaning no one will be out of Amsterdam before the 11th and that's already a lost day because of the traveling leaving the performer with only the 12th to get it all together. And obviously the EMA's have their own rehearsing time, meaning that whoever it's performing at the EMA's needs to be in Amsterdam way before the show leaving zero time for VS. And those outfits are indeed Katy's outfits for the Roar video so they're not VSFS related. this is late, but thanks

Also, I'm sure this question will inevitably piss someone off (sorry in advance), but why are we ruling out all the EMA performers? The awards are on Sunday, I know, which is close to the show date, but how many rehearsals do they usually do/would a performer not be able to schedule around that? As in, do some before, do some after? Although at this point, maybe there aren't performers... Even Russell James' ticket auction description said that they would be announced mid-October.

I think they might have had someone drop out last minute...remember last week when they were saying on twitter that we would know "really really really really REALLY soon" or whatever? At this point, the only reason I imagine we don't know is because they don't know either. I don't see why they would keep it a secret for long enough to not put it on the invitation. Unless they want the entire thing to be a surprise...?

Glad to see her shooting mainline again! She looks like she has been working very hard. Hope she makes the show this year!
