I wish they make Doutzen an angel so she can wear it, however that is highly unlikely as of now so Adriana will wear it, I am sure of it. Or maybe Selita since they have been pushing her around, useless thing deserves to be pushed around <_< .

yeah the Milan Fashion week is the absolute worst when it comes to showcasing models of other ethnicities, dont know the reason behind that though. NY and Paris somewhat are better, maybe because the locations themselves are more multicultural? There are people of all different ethnicities in NY and France has a large population of African Americans.

Asians are getting some recognitions Blacks have some recognition as well but not enough, there is only Chanel Iman who is seen as the it black girl. There is also Jessica White, but not so much. There are others but not enough as how they should be. Indians, hmm, they are beautiful but sadly only Ujjwala Raut has achieved some fame with her modeling career. There needs to be more recognitions for Indian models. I agree with you Strawberry Big Mac that it has become harder now than ever for a colored girl to make it big in the fashion business. 3-4 years ago you had great diversity with Liya, Ujjwala, Yasmin Warsame, Tyra, Oluchi, but its dwindling now, which is strange because you would think the opposite would happen.

Umm the overly sexy flirty look? Hmmm...sometimes girls overdue it...case in point Selita. And HC shows whole point of the show is to show off the clothes...the makeup in fact its just to take the attention of the girls themselves and fully to the fabulous clothes not make them look scary like you say . And like VSFS its telling a story from the beggining to the end (well not really ehh...going from segment to segment I really don't get the relation Pink? Airline? Tartan Army that show was just f*cked up. At least 2005 had a generalize theme...a Christams wonderland. Just my opinion though. ). And Irina? No... :| I have to disagree. But then again they got Marisa M right? I'm sorry matt I just had to say that. And Jessica White she's hot! lol lets ignore Selita , I dont know who chose her to become an angel but I am sure that person must have been on crack at that time or drunk or maybe even both I know, I mean most shows, not just the HC shows are designed to show off the clothes, which is absolutely fine, I am just more interested in the models than the clothes that most of these designers have to offer. Of course there are exceptions like I said when I pointed to Versace and Dolce Gabbana. Some of them overdo it though, like the recent Galliano one, look at what they did to Natasha Poly :blink: . lol I agree I didnt really see what each of the segments in 2006 show had to do with each other, thats why I hated it, its the absolute worst VS show. Some of the models didnt even fit in with VS. I loved the 2005 one just because the segments somehow related to each other and each and every one of the segments were brilliant with an amazing set of models. LOL you are entitled to your opinion and I do agree with you on some points and I might have exaggerated when I called HC shows scary.

2003 was an amazing show, though I liked 2005 a bit better, but I agree that most girls from 2003 fit in.

Liya did a fantastic job in the past VS shows, she does not have the basic body for VS but some other models dont either but she was quite sexy in 2003. She stood out. Bruna I want them to try because she seems different from the rest of the high fashion models. I agree about Caroline, that would be hot seeing both of the Carolines in VS together :drool:

Here is what I want this year I want these models from last year to NOT return this year, they all sucked and did not fit VS. Jessica Stam, Heather Marks, ROSIE , Ajuma , Elise Crombez, and I wish they throw Selita out I want these models to return to VS Eugenia, Fernanda(she wont though cause of the baby), Ujjwala Raut, Naomi(I hate her but she will make it interesting and she has a killer walk), Carmen Kass, Liya Kebebe. Some new ones to consider Caroline F, Daria, Jessica White, Lily Donaldson, Valentina, Bruna, Cintia Dicker, Marisa Miller and Hilary Rhoda(though she looks like a vampire at times <_< )

VS shows are better than all the other so called "high fashion" shows, except maybe Versace and Dolce Gabbana, I love their shows :drool: . VS shows actually concentrate on models instead of clothing and they help bring out the personalities of the models by making it a fun atmosphere to work in and having the models smile and be sexy on the runway rather than having a monotonous bitchy look. We get to know more about the girls here than the other shows. Plus its the greatest show featuring the greatest supermodels and the top models of that year. And like Ana Beatriz Barros Fan said its more recognizable and more laid back and we get to see many of our favorites on the runway, plus they all look so damn hot and not scary like in those Haute Couture shows :yuckky: :yuckky: . Its more of a celebration featuring the best girls and the show can be seen on a local channel as well.

I think it will be better than in 2006. I hope its better than 2006, if it can somehow top 2005 and 2003, although I doubt it will, then it will be the best show, but without Tyra and Gisele, I dont think it will happen.

Jennka why did you have to post all those Gisele pics? Now when I will watch this year's show I will keep remembering Gisele and her appearances at the shows and what the show will be missing :cry:
