Very interesting video about Carmen talking about the modelling industry (although a little short), love the way she starts Cameron Russell: Looks aren't everything. Believe me, I'm a model.

Arrested Development
Fans 'binge' as Netflix revives Arrested Development US sitcom Arrested Development has been revived after an absence of seven years, with many devoted fans devouring all 15 new episodes after they were made available in one go. The show, which was recently dubbed the "greatest sitcom ever" by The Guardian, was axed by the Fox network in 2006. But a new series has been made and aired by streaming service Netflix. The series is the latest attempt by Netflix to tempt viewers away from traditional TV channels. The company previously made waves in the TV industry by bypassing established networks and filming its own remake of British political drama House of Cards starring Kevin Spacey. All 13 episodes were made available at once in February. Arrested Development established a cult following during its original three series on Fox from 2003-2006 and its return has been met with huge anticipation from its loyal fans. Gavin and Stacey actor Matthew Horne wrote on Twitter: "I KNOW the sun is shining, but the new Arrested Development is on Netflix... so, goodbye Sunday." US author and Veronica Mars screenwriter Rob Thomas posted: "Netflix just emailed me that Arrested Development is online now. No one bother me for the next 7.5 hours. Hungry children - this means you." Before the new series appeared, creator Mitch Hurwitz told fans to pace themselves. "Don't feel obligated to watch it all at once," he told the Vulture website. "It's a comedy! It's not like Lord of the Rings. Comedy takes a lot out of you." And Forbes.com writer Dorothy Pomerantz said she would savour the experience because it might be the last time key personnel including executive producer and narrator Ron Howard and actor Jason Bateman would find time to film together. She wrote: "I'm going to take my time with Arrested Development and enjoy it like an old-fashioned TV show: one a week. I want the fun to last as long as possible." bbc.co.uk

Gisele Bundchen is the cover of Vogue June, by Mario Testino Gisele Bündchen is ours! The Brazilian übermodel is the star of Body edition for June of Vogue Brazil, with unpublished photos taken by Mario Testino's lens. At 32 years old and mother of two, she shows a body with curves even more perfect in testing supersensuous. Still: a close friend of the Peruvian photographer, it took Bündchen a lot to let her breasts on display for the first time in her entire career. Click this, however, you only see on the pages of the magazine, which hits newsstands next day 29.05. Gisele Bundchen Says No to Photo Retouching (She Doesn't Need It But She Makes a Good Point!) by Amy Wicks I've interviewed a bunch of models over the years and I have to say, Gisele Bundchen is probably the most flawless of the bunch. She seems to walk out the door looking like she's spent hours in hair and makeup (without wearing a stitch of product!) So, she may not be the best spokeswoman to rally against photo retouching but I do appreciate the fact that she's taking a stand against doctoring photos that can be misleading and unrealistic. The subject came up, as Gisele recently shot an ad campaign for BLK DNM and she didn't wear any makeup. "I feel like women should be really real and raw and it doesn’t really happen anymore [in fashion photographs],” she told Fashionista. “I love that feeling of, you know, we are women, we are so different, our imperfections are what make us unique and beautiful." Here's the ad campaign (and yes, I do realize we don't see her face in this ad! But you can be sure that backside is all Gisele). The debate on photo retouching is a hot one and it's been going on almost as long as magazines have been published. Our own editor in chief, Cindi Leive, wrote about a survey that found you're OK with a little retouching but you don't want the magazine to overdo it."Sixty percent of you say it’s OK for a woman to retouch her own personal photos (now very common on dating sites and Facebook). But you’re skeptical when the media does it, unless it’s for minor stuff like getting rid of a pimple or “steaming” a wrinkled skirt." In another story on the subject, one photo retoucher told us that "Absolutely 100 percent of what's in fashion magazines is retouched." Honestly, there is a lot of truth to this statement but I'm not sure I can confidently say every single image is messed with. Still, you get the picture. http://www.glamour.com/fashion/blogs/dressed/2013/05/gisele-bundchen-says-no-to-pho.html- Candids

Gisele Bündchen, Johan Lindeberg Toast BLK DNM Campaign By KRISTI GARCED BLK DNM’s lofty SoHo boutique was transformed into a gallery on Wednesday for a private viewing of “Gisele in BLK DNM,” an exhibition of 25 portraits label founder Johan Lindeberg shot of Gisele Bündchen, who appears in the brand’s latest “Wild” poster campaign. Models and fashion kids repping the downtown uniform — all-black everything — joined the likes of Waris Ahluwalia, Richard Phillips, Pamela Love and Marina Abramovic, who caught up with Michael Avedon before being swept away by Lindeberg for a personal tour of the exhibit. The black-and-white photographs on display showed Bündchen topless (but never frontal), barefoot and without makeup. “Coming from Sweden and the dark winters there — I maybe have an Ingmar Bergman influence — but I like expression,” said Lindeberg. “I’m a massive feminist. I’m the one who thinks that women should take over completely. To portray women as who they are — I see it more like a documentary portrait. I’m antiretouching and [anti-] plastic surgery. I think a woman is beautiful how she is.” Bündchen was accompanied by her sister Gabriela, as well as her mother- and sister-in-law, Galynn and Nancy Brady. Her slightly tardy arrival had caused a palpable sense of anticipation — and then excitement — amongst revelers. “So many times when you’re doing pictures, you have to look a certain way and it’s very contrived, and you’re not very free to be able to express yourself in that raw, real way,” Bündchen said. “It was just an opportunity to go in and create something without any boundaries and expectation — free-form, no makeup, no hair. We were [in this warehouse] for like an hour. I think he sees women in a beautiful way. He’s an artist in that way; he’s not just a designer.” She began typing out the caption for an Instagram photo after posing with her sister. Her agent, Anne Nelson, doted over her shoulder, explaining how to tag someone. “@blkdnm,” she said. “You have to tag it at ‘BLK DNM.’” http://www.wwd.com/eye/parties/gisele-bndchen-johan-lindeberg-toast-blk-dnm-campaign-6950352?module=hp-eye- Kendra Spears
