Filoni is my master now. Talking a bit about Solo, I enjoyed it. It was a good popcorn movie, and as Hubs and I saw quite a bit of the EU in it. Which is always appreciated. Some, ok, quite a few liberties were taken here and there. I thought that Solo got shafted when Daff Kennedy decided it needed to be a May release, instead of December. Because we all know that it shouldn’t have been released during the time of The Avengers steamrolling everything else then. And we also be dubbed Rogue One a popcorn movie and was worth it to see Vader being Vader.

Hubs and I both agree with these as well. I just can’t put faith in something that is “live actioning” some Anime that is beloved to the fans for the sake of making it. The only live action Anime that worked Very Well was Yamato. They respected the work, knew the were not going to do a sequel so they threw everything into one movie. Hubs is a huge Yamato fan from long days gone by and if he loved the live action movie, it means something was done right. (Except for the Gamelans, they were different)
