Thanks for the article and pix! Vogue has a best dressed of the week poll going and Blake is in the running for her Chanel dress at the MoMA benefit / Almodovar tribute. Lady Gaga running away with it, but the battle for second place is still on. Right up there with her April Fool's joke of having Penn "discover" Steven Tyler was his father. There's another smaller pic of the Lively sisters from the same photo session in the front of the mag. All three of them are striking in their own way. I would never guess they were sisters, tbh.

Thanks for the pix, vids, and articles! Another pic of Blake and Chloe at WWD She looks really stunning at the MoMA benefit. There's a lot going on with the dress, and jewelry on top of that, but I can appreciate the fabulous-ness of it all (fitting for a tribute to Almodovar ) and the overall effect is very sophisticated. The booties/tights/skirt do look like they could be an entirely different outfit. It works with the coat she was wearing, but bare legs and different shoes probably would have worked better at tying the look together sans coat. The original paired it with boots, which makes sense since it's fall/winter collection. Maybe boots weren't considered dressy enough for the evening so tights and Louboutin booties were substituted, but I would have liked boots better. Boots or bare - no in between! "Like the sister I never had.." aww, how sweet is that?

A jubilant Blake Lively (in Dolce & Gabbana) came out to see her buddy Christian Louboutin last night at Barneys to celebrate his 20th anniversary and book launch, and they both got really, really excited. We think they enjoy each other. BFANYC has a lot more pix I hope so, but it seems more like an industry event than a regular film festival. I'm busy tonight, but I'm going down there Saturday am to see if I can get a ticket without a pass.

Thanks for all the pix, vids, tweets! New pix alert: Blake will be one of the hosts for Christian Louboutin's 20th Anniversary party at Barneys NY tomorrow night. LOLOL Blake and Florence look like they're having a blast! The songs I've heard off of Florence's new cd sound amazing... HBO is already using the title track for all of their promos. I love the way her sunny smile and the blue sky are reflected in the chrome. Ooh cool pic! Ryan between Sandra and Blake -- now that's a lucky man with good taste. I love what I can see of Blake's dress -- simple, yet elegant. Wish there was a bigger pic of it, but good on them for being able to avoid the paps in NY. Movie under the stars in Fenway sounds like fun. I just hope it's not too cold out. I wonder if any of the cast will be attending...

Thanks for all the pix, scans, articles, and tweets! NY Daily News Chanel AND Vogue photo shoots? Even one of those would be awesome! I don't think Hick has a U.S. distributor yet. I remember reading about a distribution deal for Europe, but not U.S. Per Anil's earlier post, they're bringing it to the American Film Market in L.A. next month. I love the skirt she's wearing in GG pix with Penn. I would never think to put with that sweater and the whole brown/black/red theme going on, but somehow it all works (though I think would look even better with boots closer to the color of those Uggs she's wearing between takes ). I've heard Blake mention Grace Kelly as a fashion icon several times in interviews. Very flattering that she is so high up on the Hollywood Reporter's list to portray her, though I'm generally not a fan of biopics (and definitely not a fan of slime E Ted ). Personally I would like to see her in more modern woman type roles. I can't tell if she is arriving or leaving Boston. There was a tweet about her and Ed filming in NY last night and those birthday pix made it sound like she left Penny with Ryan. Maybe she went to pick them up (I think he lives in NY too)? Somehow I don't think that other dog is Blake pup. She said in an interview that she's always had big dogs before moving to NY, but Penny is travel size.

^Penny's like "WTH?! I better be getting extra scooby snacks for this" I know it's frustrating to not have real news, but after filming TV series and movie at the same time (while trying to keep a relationship afloat, at that) I can see why she would want a break. Honestly I'd rather she take some time for herself than take some stupid role just to work or show up for the opening of an envelope, like many actors do. If paps are going to follow her home or to a movie set there's not a lot she can do about it. She can't live her life based on what they do, or what assorted strangers on gossip sites think (but if you must, don't ignore all the positive comments -- the tweeties have been generally kind ). Keep your head down and just keep going is what she has said, and I read this from Ryan in a recent GQ interview: "I choose to remain as private as possible without being secretive." I think both are healthy, mature approaches but I'm not going to judge how anyone who has their privacy invaded chooses to deal with it because they're not the ones doing anything wrong in the first place. As much as I dug Leo and Blake as a couple, if they are happy then I'm happy for them. The last thing I would want for them (or selfishly speaking, for me as a fan of both) is to struggle with an on-off relationship for years. Better to cut your losses and go find what makes you happy. But yes, casting news, pretty please! It's a shame the filming schedules for Savages and the Oz film with Sam Raimi clashed so she couldn't do both. Savages sounds more promising tbh, but I'm sorry she missed the opportunity to work with another great director. Hopefully they will have a chance to work together again in the near future. And I would think that shoot she did recently (per Chanel makeup artist) should be showing up soon, non?

I've read enough positive comments and observations from people who have met or worked with Blake, or simply happened to find themselves in her presence, to give any credence to what anonymous haters and mischief makers who hang out on gossip sites have to say.

Aw she looks happy with her sister. Gelling, no one knows when Blake and Leo broke up. My first clue that there may have been trouble was all the Leo sightings at the bars and clubs (actually, truth be told, I was concerned before that, when he was papped walking with Anna in the wee hours of the morning, but I loved the couple too much to let them go back then ). I think it's probably for the best for both of them. Their lifestyles seem too different. Ryan seems like a nice guy and if he makes her happy, I'm happy for them. I hope for the same for Leo.
