Great finds, Avies! That first clip is very appropriate considering the recent paparazzo shots. Can't a man go out on his own balcony in a wife beater or boxer shorts without the whole world seeing? Or skinny dip in his endless pool? Mmmkey that hasn't happened yet... but a girl can dream. Sort of related... I have no idea when this interview was filmed or what for, but the brief highlight that leads off the show reel is his very entertaining and animated description of an incident at a restaurant with Italian paparazzo. And in case anyone didn't catch Leo's own tweets today... I made my calls, but you don't have to live in California to make your voice heard on this issue. Letterman is known for acting uncomfortable and making his guests squirm. It's his schtick, if you will. I think Leo was a pretty good sparring partner in that interview for Basketball Diaries. I would like to see him do Craig Ferguson or Jimmy Fallon, but maybe they're not big enough for the one late night interview he'll probably do. One reason he probably did Leno twice because Leno was the ratings king back then (also he is a nice interviewer who lets his guests talk, unlike Letterman - but Letterman is more interesting ). Welcome ohosolively! This interview is one of my favorites for the way he so deftly handles her questions and her self consciousness about asking with that beautiful smile and a sweet sense of humor. SFO is San Francisco, California airport. HNL is Honolulu, Hawaii airport. I'm sure SFO has fewer paps than LAX (Los Angeles airport). Looks like I have lots to catch up! The person who took the pic says it's Leo and Blake. It's either both of them, or it's neither of them (he would have a bigger scoop if it was either of them with another person ). Much as I'd love to see smoochie pix, I'm leaning towards the latter. The photo is too dark and blurry, the account has only three tweets (and he seems to be a little... off ), and last time I checked Australia isn't "along the Mediterranean coast" (and no travel tweets or follows from Australia).

There are lower profile places to hang out than Cannes during the film festival. But that's where his business was (Red Granite, and also the Haiti charity) and where his friends were vacationing. He shouldn't let the paps determine where he goes all the time. They've followed him to secluded beaches, too. Sometimes he's able to evade them, sometimes he's not. I agree his attitude towards press and photographers has changed some over the years, but that's to be expected. Young people are still forming their ideas about how they want to deal with things. But I don't see him being more open with them lately about his personal life, I really don't. We've seen him hug Blake, but that was early on and she was hugging Lukas, and Spielberg and his wife too. From what I've seen they walk around without a big entourage, and are very discrete about any PDA. My favorite too. Is that considered PDA? Eye sex? I dunno, but I don't think they're aware of much besides each other and their cameras.
