Thanks for all the aritcles, pix, and tweets! Oxford, the vid with Danny is too blurry for me to tell but I still think it's Jonah at the airport. I've seen a video from his band Blackcowboy and it looks like him. Pami, I was referring to the video of Leo arriving at the airport. The guy behind him has an upright guitar case in his luggage cart. I take the Daily Fail with a grain of salt, but the Prius for Blake is a cute story. Daily Telegraph

Thanks for all the news, tweets, and pix ladies! I was thinking the guy carrying the guitar could be Leo's friend Jonah? He's a musician, and he's worked as Leo's personal assistant and chef in the past. I know he was there for Titanic, and he may have been one of the R&J crew as well. I think Tobey might have been there for awhile too. It's like a R&J reunion in Australia. I love Carey, but she and Leo both have sweet, adorable, classy partners of their own and I couldn't be happier for them.

Everybody act cool. 33 minutes ago Wasn't there a pic of Carey made up as Daisy and Leo (well, the back of his head) put out when it was announced she got the role? Two extremely charismatic and talented actors who really make you feel for their characters... I think they will be awesome together. I like the way you dream. It's on his right hand so it would be kinda hard for him to draw himself. If he were my boyfriend I would be drawing hearts like crazy. His body would be my canvas! He would wake up with a new one every day!

Thanks for the pix and tweets! The bird streets are pretty famous. Ever hear the Beatles song "Blue Jay Way"? Leo's home there became known after his neighbors sued him for building a basketball court awhile back. I remember when it was a "Top Story!" on the local news. I've never been on one of those star tours, but I've had visiting friends go on them and tell me "We saw George Clooney's hedges!"

Toronto Sun: "Leo's Gatsby to be Original" From what I've read, Baz has some kind of complex that he used for filming Australia. I don't know if it's on the Fox lot or not, but I think everything is near Sydney. The casting call for extras said this (from Baz the Great): I don't know if the whole cast will be there for a continuous four months. Leo obviously has promotional obligations for J. Edgar, and I've read that Tobey's character Nick Carraway has more screen time because he's the narrator. But who knows what kind of artistic license Baz will take... I wonder if filming in 3-D takes more time, or if that's a post-production thing... Ohh Billy C... Thanks Barbie! Short hair or longer hair, I love both looks, as long as he goes easy on the pomade Ha it does! Just when I was missing the socks, he does something else cute. Thanks for the tweets! A little bit about Gatsby in an interview with Joel Edgerton (Tom Buchanan)... IndieWire Simply Leo has a pic of one of the cars being hauled to the set. This collage is awesome! Thank you wijin! Thanks kat for the Gatsby pix! I picture Leo as Gatsby having a hair style similar Redford's, but a little less shaggy (and a lot less blonde ). I think I'm being overly sensitive today. Something about those reporters cackling over him "playing games" with them rubs me the wrong way. He's going there for work, not to play with them. I feel like a big hypocrite because I love to see pix, but if he's going to the lengths of cancelling flights or flying into an airport far from where he is staying to avoid them, I think they should back off. I don't want to see him chased around by camera crews and Murdoch's men for four months. I'm sure there will be enough random sightings over time to keep them entertained and in the know, as well as official interviews and pix from the set. / end rant (watch me melt when the first shots of him walking through the airport turn up )

And I feel compelled to point out that his undies and shirt match Blake's outfit. Looking at his broad shoulders and her backless number, I can understand completely. I'm a vegetarian non-smoker and I could use a burger and cig about now. Australia gearing up for Leo's arrival... I have to laugh at this "the house comes with a poker table" business.... Simply Leo DiCaprio | Body of Lies Gallery I asked myself this question and could only come up with one logical answer -- the same reason there was no love scene between Danny and Maddy in Blood Diamond -- the directors are MEN. "Oh no he's too hot, the men in the audience will hate him because their women will be drooling over him." That bodes well for Leo then. But you never know... the expectations are very high, and that's always scary. Also the fact that he is playing a historical figure: there will always be those who say "I just can't picture him as...." going in and it colors their judgment from the get go. But he has built up good will with Oscar voters for his body of work and box office success, and there are a lot of people who feel he hasn't been given his due, if not in awards then nominations (uh, hello, where was his nom for Revolutionary Road? <_<)... Thanks oxford for the big pix of Leo in his Karma. Me too. I think a lot of the people making those comments are very young themselves (as in teenagers who never got to experience the whole Titanic Leo-mania in real time and wish they had), and some of the older ones want to relive their teen years. I love all his looks. As Kate said, "He's a man now!" I love fashion. If a person loves clothes and is comfortable dressing up, more power to them. I love Leo's style because it's him, and he's not trying to be anyone other than himself. He's obviously confident and secure in his friendships, too, and doesn't let the uninformed opinions of total strangers dictate who he hangs out with or how he lives. Women get stereotyped as manipulative and catty, but rumors about men don't work unless they can make them gay, and there is no Father equivalent of the Oedipal complex, so George gets let off the hook. Without the "This is SO scandalous we can't give you the names because we might get sued!" drama, they're just another person making up stories based on rumors and innuendo. Someone tweeted last week he was in a Starbucks in Portland at the same location. There's either an incredible Leo lookalike in Portland, he's able to travel back and forth incredibly quick (go go Fisker Karma! ), or he's like Bigfoot: once spotted in one location, everyone claims to have seen him there. I'm generally more suspicious of sightings outside his CA or NY stomping grounds, unless he's on location or vacation. Thanks oxford! Looks like The Star can't properly set up their next round of "BREAKUP! SPLIT!! DUMPED!!!" fiction until they've put them back together is similarly dramatic fashion ("BUYING A HOUSE TOGETHER!!! We'll have to wait for Gatsby for some eye candy. And then he'll destroy it again for Calvin Candie in Django. Actually, I've heard as ugly a person as the Candie character is, he may be quite suave in appearance. Still haven't read the script, but we shall see...

Thanks kat for the links, and the wise advice. The market is Gelson's in West Hollywood. I don't usually shop there; too expensive compared to Vons and Ralphs. But it's smaller and less crowded than the regular grocery stores, and the management should be better at catching the paparazzi in action (emphasis on should ). I bet they delivered Leo's groceries free of charge after that little incident. I found the article I mentioned before where Leo goes grocery shopping... it's old (and the writer is annoying with his his pop psychology analysis), but worth mentioning for the visual of Ethan Suplee pushing Leo around the store in a cart. TIME I'll be sure to mention that to him when I finally run into him.
