The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP
The Iraq war was bi-partisan in the beginning 2002-2003. For years growing up there was war mongering over Iraq in the media. But when the US was failing in Iraq the Democrats turned on the war while Republicans supported it. Now in 2022 the neocons have rebranded themselves and are supporting/making propaganda about the Ukraine war and the Democrats have been very into it. The Republicans are less into fighting Cold War 2 with Russia.

The new "Scorn" game (heavily influenced by Giger and Alien) is incredibly gross. It's the most disgusting horror game I've ever seen.- BZ'ers talking models at the Bar

I don't know. I would hope that something much better than twitter appears someday and turns it into a fossil, like myspace.- The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP
The thing is he will become the owner and the puppet-master of the platform. This means that they get to control culture and politics, and way people think through their moderation and management policies. Twitter is one of those psychologically influential platforms, it makes people think in certain ways. So Musk will likely bring back banned opinion leaders or prevent the banning of opinion leaders that would have been banned under the old regime. So there is a totally different influence. As I am following the Ukraine war a lot this is more obvious than ever that twitter is being used by Ukrainian/NATO as a propaganda engine. In Eastern europe, Telegram is being used by Russia. Russia is banned on Twitter so people in the West only see one (biased) side of the story.- The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP
I think Twitter has a lot of intangible value as it is has a lot of political power in influencing people and spreading propaganda- which goes beyond advertising revenue and financial returns. It has cultural power. Maybe he will use it as a platform for Tesla propaganda.- General Celebrity Gossip
I just finished the battle of Blackwater bay, and there is some affectionate tension between Sansa and Sandor. It is written' in a very opaque way, (I heard it once through audiobook and didn't know if it was more romantic or platonic). I guess this is where it starts: “I could keep you safe,” he rasped. “They’re all afraid of me. No one would hurt you again, or I’d kill them.” He yanked her closer, and for a moment she thought he meant to kiss her. He was too strong to fight. She closed her eyes, wanting it to be over, but nothing happened. "after a moment the Hound took the blade from her throat, never speaking. Some instinct made her lift her hand and cup his cheek with her fingers. When she crawled out of bed, long moments later, she was alone. She found his cloak on the floor, twisted up tight, the white wool stained by blood and fire. The sky outside was darker by then, with only a few pale green ghosts dancing against the stars. A chill wind was blowing, banging the shutters. Sansa was cold. She shook out the torn cloak and huddled beneath it on the floor, shivering.”" There's even fanart of them having sex, very bizarre to me. Did GRRM admit this in his interviews or is it a fan-theory? I find that, having watched HOD Season 1, my appreciation for Dany's storyline becomes a lot greater. I understand what all that hubbub about the Targayeans are, and why she is so attached to this heritage.- BZ'ers talking models at the Bar

Honestly it seems like European countries would have to invade 3rd world nations for cheap resources again and build colonies... Same thing with the British Empire after it disintegrated after WW1 and finally after WW2.- The Political Correctness Haters' Club
It is likely that Russia has already have well over half a million men that could see service in Ukraine in 2023. Well over 440,000 reservists/volunteers with up to 290,000 recently trained conscripts if the ban on releasing conscripts is lifted like it was in Chechen wars and in Afganistan. In 2021 the Russians created the BAR Special Combat Reserve, creating a new force of 38,000 active reservists. Elements have already been used in the Ukraine. Partial mobilization order of 300,000 already done, with average age of the reservists being 35. After mobilization they are ordered for two months of training. A further 83,000 volunteers collected since the beginning of the SMO. They have two recent conscript classes (2021-2022) with 160,000-142,000 men and 2022-2023 with 130,000 men. The latest conscript classes' earliest deployable date is March/April 2023. Both conscript classes are not serving in Ukraine but this can change, as they are the largest crop of recently trained men. Chechnya raised 20,000 men for combat. Russian PMCs are growing and are composed of many motorized rifle regiments, they are even recruiting from Russian prisons. Occupied Ukraine is being conscripted to reinforce the now sizable separatist army, besides collecting volunteers. Besides this there is covert mobilization that is not being reported with Russian news speculating that much more than 300,000 reservists were mobilized. Some 88,000 reservists have already been sent to Ukraine, with half being allocated to units. The Ukrainian strategic offensive has been bogged down for almost 1 month now, with daily attacks that typically fail. This war is looking like it's going to escalate into a gigantic bloodbath, on both sides as the Russian people expect their side to go on the strategic offensive again.- The Political Correctness Haters' Club
I would love to see twitter changed into something more like forums (with real discussion and complete thoughts, rather than a venue for buzzwords) but that is a pipe dream. - Interesting Youtube personalities
