Ukraine is losing the Battle of Bakhmut. US advises them to withdraw. Their General staff admits that 30% of the Ukrainian front line army is tied around the Bakhmut-Soledar area. The Russian Wagner PMC has the city completely encircled from the North and South, and now the Western roads are threatened. They only need to take some the western stretch of fields to cut off the entire city. Currently the Wagner northern pincer has momentum and is advancing. The Southern pincer is stuck as Ukraine counterattacks.

We're heading nicely into World War 3 (axis of Evil: Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, India etc). For the past year, China continues to trade military goods with Russia and has tightened economic relations. This was obvious from following the war in Ukraine.
