Elsa has a hustler mentality so it’s very likely that she noticed that her selfies and pictures where she is as nude as possible get the most likes so she decided to post those kinds of pictures almost exclusively. The whole stroking of the ego thing doesn’t hurt either I bet. I agree that it’d be better to diversify and not go for the “sex sells” angle all the time. Trying to appeal to other than the male demographic on occasion could add some much needed charm to her.

Haha, yes, I was just about to write that the PINK section would likely reduce spots that the Angels could take in the show. In addition, non-Angels have gotten special things like closing a section or even the show in the past, which could further reduce the Angels’ chances of getting more of the spotlight during segments.

Technically, there are 14 special spots: Fantasy Bra (1) 1st segment – opening the show and closing the segment (2) 2nd segment – opening and closing the segment (2) 3rd segment – opening and closing the segment (2) 4th segment – opening and closing the segment (2) 5th segment – opening and closing the segment (2) 6th segment – opening the segment and closing the show (2) Swarovski outfit (1) But if history repeats itself, the actual number of spots is smaller i.e. the one wearing the Fantasy bra opens a segment, someone opens and closes the same segment, someone gets the Swarovski outfit and opens or closes a different segment.

Elsa has been at the VS game for a long time. I don’t see her becoming much more popular in the future by doing the same things so she might as well be dropped from the Angel roster. And yes, “pretty” pictures should not be enough on the level of a VS Angel. These girls owe a lot to the veterans who made the position so covetable – Tyra, Heidi, Gisele etc. They had personality.

Why does everyone keep hanging Elsa’s name around for these lists? Is it because it’s “expected” around here? Does anyone really care about her aside from some fans who have glommed onto her?

It’s time to clean house. I haven’t gotten attached to any of the so-called new Angels. Most of them seem to have nice careers going so they would not be in big trouble after getting cut by VS.

Yes, when I watched PINK swimsuit videos, she stood out as having the right kind of attitude and moves for the part. I’m not really advocating for her to become one of the Angels but I’d like to see her continue working with VS. She has a good life regardless but I like to see people come up in life. Especially because models she has shot with have become Angels (Sara Sampaio, Taylor Hill) as well as previous PINK spokesmodels, it’d be sad if she was dropped altogether.
