I do agree with you there. Only Boston has came back from being down 0-3. Every game Dodgers vs. Phillies have been won by the home team. I'm hopin that that trend will continue, and hopefully L.A. can break the trend if the series goes back to Philly.

However, I hoping the Brewers do get the wild card, because if they don't, the Dodgers play the Cubs, and NOBODY want to play the Cubs, ESPECIALLY IN THE 1ST ROUND!!! Phillies done cooled off a little bit, losing the last 2 TO THE BRAVES!!! And with the magic number 3, that Eastern Division is still up for grabs. Consider yourselves lucky that those last 3 are against the Nationals, coupled with the fact the Mets suck, and are gonna have their work cut out for them playing the Marlins. Dodgers, on the other hand, still RED HOT!!! And, our magic number is 1!!! Shouldn't be too hard. We blown out SD the last 2 games, with another game tonight. True. The Dodgers have been SO GOOD since acquiring Manny. I'm still surprised how well he is hitting NL pitchers, given that he has spent his entire career in the AL until the Dodgers got him. And look at the effect he has had on ANDRE ETHIER!!! Even the pitching of the Dodgers has improved. Obviously, Manny has lifted the spirits of the fans, players and city of L.A. since he came on board. With the Dodgers riding into the playoffs, and the Angels being the team to beat in the AL, I'm hoping, even though I know it's far fletched, to see a FREEWAY WORLD SERIES!!! So far in World Series History, we are the only area that have to NOT HAVE such a World Series. Even though it happened a long time ago, the Cubs and White Sox faced each other in the World Series. New York has such a series with the Yankees and Mets, and the Bay Area had the Giants and the A's. Sure, the Nationals and Orioles haven't done it yet, but the Nationals just recently relocated to that area.

Then you really missed out on that great fight between Margarito-Cotto. Hopefully, you have HBO, so you can watch the replay. However, watching it live was AWWWWWSOME!!! :hell yea!: :dance: The first few rounds Cotto was boxing beautifully, landing combinations, hitting Margarito at will. However, he wasn't able to hurt Margarito at ALL!!! Obviously, the word "pain" isn't in Margarito's vocabulary. He just kept coming, and while Cotto was landing the flashier, cleaner blows, he was able to land body shots. and it pain dividends in the later rounds. After the 6th, Margarito was able to pin Cotto into a corner or against the ropes and continued to land body and head shots on Cotto. Cotto was getting weaker and weaker, and Margaito just kept on coming and punching. His nose was bleeding from his mouth and nose pretty badly. In the 10 round, Cotto started coming back, but somebody forgot to tell Margarito, who was still landing shots, kept moving forward. At the end of the round, he hurt Cotto with a right hand, and the blood from his mouth and nose was gushing. His wife and kids were crying in the stands. In the 11th, Margarito ended the fight. He got to Cotto and KNOCKED HIM DOWN HARD!!! :shock: I couldn't believe that Cotto got up and wanted the fight to continue. Margarito picked up where he left off, and Cotto finally took a knee to avoid more punishment. His trainer got up on the apron, and waved the towel to stop the fight. Personally, I didn't like or dislike Margarito or Cotto. I just wanted to see a great fight. I GOT MY MONEY'S WORTH!!! CH-CHING!!!

She is pretty, but I like her sister Emily better. Her performance in the series "Bones" is nothing short of spectacular. Oh, the the starter of this thread forgot that Zooey aslo made multiple apperances in the season 2 of the Showtime show "Weeds".

Cool enough. The Lakers were able to send this series back to Boston. At least the series is more respectable now, instead of total dominance of one team over the other. I guess the Lakers can be like NOT IN OUR HOUSE!!!

And the Celtics came back to WIN IT!!! :shock: Dude, I don't even know what to say, I'm so in shock right now. Ahh, the Lakers are done. They'll be lucky if this series actually makes it back to Boston.

The Lakers came back and made it close, but they fell short. The Lakers are pretty much done now. Even though the Lakers are undefeated at home in the playoffs, winning 3 straight games is highly unlikely.

True that. And I believe that the Lakers will take care of business tonight. They lost the 1st game, no biggie. Lakers wanted the get one of the first 2, and tonight is they have another chance to acheive that. That way, the series tips in favor of the Lakers, who have won every playoff game AT HOME!!!

GOOD CALL!!! (Y) Now that the Celtics took care of the Pistons, we know what's what. Also, Lakers-Celtics revives a OLD SCHOOL RIVALRY!!! They have faced each other 10 times in the NBA Finals. Celtics won 8, and the Lakers 2. Last time they matched up, in 1987, the Lakers won. The fact that Magic Johnson and Larry Bird had a personal rivalry that went back to their college days helped intensify the rivalry. The Celtics, after winning the East Conference finals, some of the players started the famous chant "BEAT L.A.!!! BEAT L.A.!!!" Mayn, this is gonna be FUN!!!

Lakers took out the Spurs in 5 games, and now are headed to the NBA FINALS!!! :dance: :hell yea!: :blueeyedbaby: Now, the Lake show can just sit back, relax, and see how the Eastern Conference finals play out. And in the finals, the best of 7 goes to a 2-3-2 format. So, regardless of who we play, it being Detroit or Boston, we just gotta win 1 of the first 2 games, then the next 3 will be IN L.A.!!! And it gets better if you are a Laker fan. So far, the Lakers have won every playoff game AT HOME!!!
