I don't think Lamar would wanna go back to Miami. Barely made it into the playoffs last year. Got got bounced out in the 1st round. He's a NY native, but the Knicks REALLY SUCK!!! Plus, it looks like LeBron James is going to New York once his contract with the Cavs runs out, and he is gonna get a SHITLOAD OF MONEY!!! Lamar, if he leaves, would wanna go to a serious playoff contender, which makes Denver more of a possibility. However, I think Omar rather stay in L.A. with a championship team than go for the money, so I think he will stay. Wonder what Orlando is gonna do, since Hedo Turkoglu has decided to leave. He is gonna be hard to replace. I heard that Portland is trying to sign him. Hope it does not happen.

To answer your question eNe, Kobe decided not to have surgery on his pinkie finger. He said that is doesn't bother him that much anymore. Kobe seems to be enjoying the time off. He was the game last night at Angel Stadium, sitting right behind the Dodger dugout and saying 'Hi' to Joe Torre. See, even Kobe knows who the REAL L.A. TEAM IS!!! He is a true DODGER BLUE FAN!!! I think the Lakers will keep the squad together. I mean, who would wanna leave? If y'all didn't notice, Jackson wins his titles in 3's. Odom and Ariza are the big free agents. Trevor shouldn't be a problem. Lakers got the cash to keep him. Besides, he grew up and went to college here. He's living the dream. Lamar, on the other hand, might go for the money, which means he might wind up somewhere else. However, he is a team player and I doubt he wants to go somewhere else. Besides, it would suck if he joins one of our rivals, like the Nuggets, who are gonna be our Sacramento Kings this time around. Can't let that happen. That good for you, Sympathy? Cause next time, I'm gonna go back to what I DO!!!

YEEEEEEEES!!! The LAKERS WON THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP!!! :hell yea!: The first quarter was close, but after that, Lakers PUT IT ON 'EM!!! The Lakers were winning by so much, I was relaxed for most of the game. Kobe finally DONE DID IT!!! Gotta give it to the rest of the team as well. Ariza, Gasol, Fisher, Odom, Bynum, and the others all played their butts off to bring the Championship back to L.A. And Phil Jackson, what can say? Greatest coach of ALL TIME!!! So, for one more time, let's give it up for the PURPLE AND GOLD!!!

WHAT?! How are the Lakers underachievers?! Have you forgot they are one game away from winning the NBA FINALS?! Maybe you are not a hater. You're just a F'N IDIOT!!! I guess they are underachievers in your mind because they had tough series with the Rockets and Nuggets? Sure, they went 7 games with Houston with no McGrady and without Yao for most of the games, but Magic also went 7 with Boston with no Garnett. Only team that are truly underachievers in the NBA Playoffs is Cleveland. They were supposed to face the Lakers in the NBA Finals this year. That was what all those puppet commercials were all about. Instead, Orlando is facing the Lakers, and we can win all in 5 GAMES!!! Tell me, how are the Lakers UNDERACHIEVERS?! <_<

Just can't give the Lakers' full credit, huh? <_< We came back and won THE F'N GAME!!! :blueeyedbaby: Whatever. I thought with Kobe being the hometown boy, coupled with the fact the Magic knocked your team out the playoffs, you were on our side. Guess you are just another Laker hater. nope, if it had happened the other way around I wouldnt have gave credit to the Magic either. They pretty much controlled game 4. imo they gave it away again. altough Lakers did show a lot more effort on the defensive side when it came down to crunch time. why cant they play with that kind of conviction all the time? Admit it, Matt, you are just a LAKER HATER!!! Every time the Lakers have won a close game in the playoffs, you always say the GOT LUCKY!!! Then again, you are from Philly, so what else should I expect from a HATER LIKE YOU!!!

YEEEEEES!!! :hell yea!: We were down, and it looked at times were were out, be kept on fighting :lullaby: , and WON THE FIGHT!!! Honestly, I don't know if I should be more excited or relieved. With this 2-3-2 format, the Lakers couldn't afford to lose this game and give Orlando the confidence going into game 5 thinking they can will all three on their home court. With the 2 game gap, Orlando can recover and win game 5, but the Lakers GOT THIS!!! Even if this series goes back to L.A., I don't see Orlando winning 3 STRAIGHT!!! Lakers wanna close it out, and even if the Magic can win game 5, the Lakers know they got a game 6th and 7th game at home if need be, though I doubt it will go that far. Till next time, GO LAKERS!!! PURPLE AND GOLD!!!

The Grizzlies are still around as well. They just moved to Memphis. The Bullets became the Wizards. The Sonics moved the Oklahoma City and changed the name to the Thunder. The Clippers may play in the Staples Center, :x but luckily for us true B-ball fans, so do the Lakers. Back to B-ball news. Anybody see the game last night?! Disappointing to most here, wasn't it? Well, I guess Orlando had to win at least one game. Even though there were some instances where to Lakers could have won the game, I give the Orlando Magic all the credit for executing a good game plan. I was hoping the Lakers would give me a early birthday present by winning last night and guaranteeing another NBA Championship for this city. Oh well. I'm down for them to give me a belated by taking the next game to make the series 3-1. Till next time, GO LAKERS!!! PURPLE AND GOLD ALL DAY!!!

Cool song. However, back to the matter at hand: did you see the game? Now THAT is how you lock it down in a close game. Lakers up 2-0, and now the series shifts to ORLANDO!!! :lullaby: Maybe Orlando might be excited about going home, but they yet to win a single game in the NBA FINALS!!! And that's INCLUDING when they faced Houston back in the day. Got a record of 0-6!!! Orlando can still make this series interesting. That being said, I think the Lakers, at worst, will at least win one of the next 3 games, should it go that far. So, are the Lakers coming back to L.A. for another game, or for the victory parade? Till next time(that being Tuesday), GO LAKERS!!! PURPLE AND GOLD!!! P.S. Wasn't it cool that the Magic actually decided to SHOW UP?!

Boxing
The Heavyweight are so BORING!!! I guess the like it in Europe, though. Not to mention, heavyweight boxing over there is so popular and lucrative over there they have no need to come to the U.S. However, all the exciting fights, which are in the lower weight classes, happen here, in the U.S., so I'm looking forward to next weekend and beyond. First up, we Got Miguel Cotto vs. Joshua Clottey. Both have interesting pasts, and both have fought Zab Judah and Antonio Margarito. Cotto beat Judah via 11th round TKO. However, Judah was able to hurt Cotto on occasion, and is known for having a shakey chin. Clottey has also beaten Judah, with some controversy. It was stopped by a cut caused by a headbutt in the 9th round, even though the replay showed to cut was caused by a punch, which Clottey should have won. However, it went to the scorecards. Luckily, the judges got it right, and Clottey was declared the winner. He was never hurt by Judah. Both lost to Margarito. Cotto his first fight of his career. He was bleeding profusely and decided to quit by taking a knee 2 times in the 11th round. Now that loss has since become controversial, since Margarito has been caught trying to cheat prior to his fight with Shane Mosley by having plaster of Paris in his gloves, so who knows how long he has been using that? Clottey also lost to Margarito. Clottey lasted the whole 12 rounds, and was actually winning the fight in the early stages. However, he hurt his hand around the 4th or 5th round, and was not able to fight effectively after the injury. I got Cotto winning by a close, but unanimous decision. Clottey should put up a good fight, though. Then, in July, Floyd Mayweather makes his comeback by fighting Juan Manuel Marquez. Then one of the fighters already mentioned will most likely face Manny Pacquiao is October. The fans wanna see Mayweather fight Pacquiao, but since Bob Arum has both Pacquiao and Cotto, that is the easiest fight to make. Should Cotto and/or Mayweather lose their upcoming fights, Shane Mosley is another possible opponent for Pacquiao. The rest of the boxing world this year LOOKS GOOD!!!

Shit, it might be over in 4 games. Most likely not, but damn, did you see the BEATDOWN THE LAKERS PUT ON THE MAGIC?! Lakers won by 25 POINTS!!! But wait, it gets worse for Orlando. When Phil Jackson coaches a team that wins the 1st game of a series, he is 43-0!!! I know a team can bounce back and still make it competitive, but a loss like that can be soul crushing. And I don't know if the Magic can match the intensity of the Lakers. Orlando, you are officially welcome to the land of DRIVEBYS AND PALM TREES!!! :blueeyedbaby: Till next time, GO LAKERS!!! PURPLE, GOLD, AND WHITE ON THE WEEKENDS!!!

Uh, no. The new season starts on June 8th at 10p.m., unless you are on the West Coast and have Showtime East. Then, you can catch it at 7.

This new season is gonna be very interesting. Nancy is gonna have a baby by the mayor of Tijuana. Her pregnancy saved her life. I wonder what's next for the other characters, especially Andy and Doug.

On the flip-side, if they play like during the Houston series, they might get swept. Lakers won't play like that in NBA FINALS!!! Every team knows that they need to step their game up for this, no doubt. They learned from the Houston series, DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ANYBODY!!! Not saying that Orlando is a 'anybody' team, of course. To prove that the Lakers learned their lesson, just look at the series with Denver. With the exception of the 4th and 6th games, all the games were relatively close. Orlando didn't fare that much better in the 2nd round than the Lakers did. They also went 7 games with the Celtics, with no Garnett.

NBA
So, the NBA Finals is all set. SUPERMAN VS. THE BLACK MAMBA!!! So much for those commercials of LeBron vs. Kobe. Not the series most people wanted to see or expected, but should still be fun to watch. I do remember saying that Orlando could be the DARK HORSE to make the finals. And the Lakers got HOME COURT ADVANTAGE!!! :hell yea!: But I shouldn't be to happy about that, now with the fact that it is now a 2-3-2 format. I think the Lakers will win the NBA Finals this year, in 6 games. Lakers have the advantage. Lakers know how to win in that atmosphere, and most of them have been there before. This is the Magics' first time in the NBA Finals. They have done well in the playoffs, but the NBA Finals is whole different ballgame. Howard is good, and he has Rashard Lewis and Hedo, but against Kobe, Gasol, Odom and Ariza, who do you think has the upper hand? I guess I can't say to Orlando welcome to the land of drivebys and palm trees, since they probably have many of those in Orlando, at least in the palm tree area. So in closing, as we say in L.A., LET'S DO THIS!!! :blueeyedbaby: :lullaby:

NBA
True. Regardless of who represents the East, I doubt Cleveland or Orlando were as good as the Celtics were last year. The Lakers, on the other hand, seem to have gotten better. As for Cleveland pulling off the next two, they gotta win tonight to get to that next game. So far, they haven't been able to win in Orlando. Since the Lakers are in, should I really care who advances and who doesn't?
-
NBA
Now that's is what I wanna see. NIIIICE!!! Fought and won a tough game 5, and ride on that momentum to CLOSE IT OUT!!! Kobe does what he always does, but Gasol, Odom, and Fisher contributed to the Laker's success as well. And Trevor Ariza is IMPRESSIVE, HUH?! Congrats to Denver for a tough series. However, I feel that this is the LAKERS' YEAR!!! So, I guess the next question is WHO'S NEXT? Can Cleveland win one in Orlando? Or will the Magic take care of business? I'm guessin' most would like to see the Black Mamba vs. King James, but I think Superman vs. Kobe will be interesting as well.

NBA
And they did just that. The NBA said that what Howard did was not a technical foul. The series ain't looking too good for Cleveland. I don' know the history, but I doubt many teams have came back in a Conference Final down 3-1. Speaking of history, Lakers have a advantage in that department. When it comes to a game 5 when a series is tied 2-2, Lakers are 19-0!!! Let's hope that trend continues tonight. Go LAKERS!!!

Guess the Lakers should be down 0-3, huh? Lakers went into Denver and got game 3. More of a relief, really. The lakers had to win one game in Denver, and that one was the one. Despite the Lakers threw up enough bricks at the free throw line to build a F'N HOUSE :x, Trevor Ariza was able to shut down Carmelo Anthony on the 2nd half. Kobe and Gasol put in serious work, especially in the 4th quarter, and then Ariza had the steal to seal the deal. Sweetandlow, still some bad calls. Simple fouls that were called technical, and vice versa. That guy pushed Kobe when Bryant already passed him and it was JUST A FOUL?! <_< And what about the double tech that wasn't called? And where you tearing your hair out when Vujavic was in the game? Luckily, Phil got the damn message and kept a shorter leach on the players that were cold early. Now game 4 is upon us. Can the Lakers win that one? Unlikely, but possible. All 3 games were relatively close. Game 3 had more a gap then the 1st two, but that mostly cause Ariza had that great steal near the end of the game, so the Nuggets had to foul. Plus, Anthony fouled out. If the Lakers can win game 4, WE GOT THIS!!! If they lose, hey, at least were got what we came for. Till next time, GO LAKERS!!! PURPLE AND GOLD!!!

These series get more and more interesting. Rockets, even without no Yao CRUSHED US. And tonight WE CRUSHED THEM!!! But wait, it gets better. We best them by 40 POINTS!!! :| Hopefully the Lakers can keep this high and finish the Rockets off Thursday. Maybe I was wrong about the Celtics. I didn't think they were gonna make it out the 2nd round. They still might not, but they got the upper hand tonight. They gotta go back to Orlando, but at the very least they guaranteed at game 7 on their home court. Plus, History is on their side. When up 3-2 in a series, the Celtics are 32-0!!! First time for everything, though. Don't really care who wins, but a good series is a good series. The NBA admitted that the referees made a serious error in game 3 when that foul at the end of the game was not called. But, hey, you can't turn back the clock after the game is said and done, right. Series could have been 2-2, instead it is 3-1. That's pretty amazing in itself. Dallas get to fight another day by winning game 4. Denver is gonna probably kill them and advance to the Western Conference Finals and see how the Rockets-Lakers series plays out. Till next time, GO PURPLE AND GOLD!!! P.S. I didn't even notice, Joe. Either way, I knew what you meant, so the hug emotion was not sarcastic.
