The show was just OK to me. The fact that Tyra wasn't there obviously left a void. Nobody could work the runway like her, and nobody ever will. However, Selita Ebanks did better than I expected her to be. I thought she was gonna try to fill the void, based on her performance last year. She carried herself well on the runway, and didn't try to overdo it. The rest of the angels also did well, especially Karolina Korkova. She has really grown on me since her performance on last year's show. I thought it was cool that they were able to keep Heidi Klum involved with the fashion show in some way, shape, or form. Some of the new girls were cool but the only that stood out to me was Rosie. The other ones were just OK, in my opionion. Still, this year's show was disappointing overall. It did lack that "certain something" that the previous shows' had. Nothing in particular really stood out, with the exception of the "Sexy Stewardess" part of the show. I thought that Doutzen Kroes looked HORRIBLE!!! :x Her hair sooo bad. She looked much better as a dirty blond. And to think, she was my favortie new girl last year. When you look back at all the VSFS over the years, it's pretty obvious that 2002 and 2003 were the best years. A lot of people complained about the 2005 show, but even that show had it's moments. Let's hope that Victoria's Secret will get back on track and give us a show to remember come 2007.

Was it just me that was shocked by some of the lyrics Justin Timberlake said when he was perfoming the 2nd song?! Did anybody else catch it when he said" She looks like a model/except she gotta a little MORE ASS"?! :shock: WTF WAS HE THINKING?! He had the gall to say that, in front of the top models of the world, that audience that came to see the show, not the mention the millions of people watching around the WORLD!!!

After looking at clips and photos of this year's show, it obvious to me what the problem is: Selita Ebanks is trying WAY TOO HARD!!! She is beautiful and all that, but the way she acts on the runway, it's like she is trying to copy Tyra Banks. Now that Tyra has moved on, maybe she thinks she should try to fill the void. Problem is, only Tyra could pull that off. Nobody could work the runway she did, and nobody EVER WILL!!! Selita Ebanks best find her own niche and stop trying to be like Tyra.

Well, you're IN LUCK!!! Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales will go at it a 3rd time on Nov. 18th. Whenever these two fight, you know you're gonna be ENTERTAINED!!! I've been a fan for Morales a long time, so I'll be rooting for him. However, I believe that Pacquiao will win by late round TKO.

Michael C. Hall, formally is HBO's "Six Feet Under" now has his own show on Showtime, titled "Dexter". It also stars Erik King, Lauren Velez, and David Zayas, who are alums of HBO's "OZ. The show focuses on Dexter, a blood splatter expert for the Miami P.D. The twist is that he is also a SERIAL KILLER!!! However, he only kills people who are killers themselves, whether they be child molesters, people who kill for sport, human smugglers; etc. This makes him more of a vigilante than anything else. By killing these bad people, he is actually saving human lives. Of course, he hides this other side from his comrades in the Miami P.D., his foster sister, who is a cop, and his girlfriend. In case you have missed it, you can view all the episodes at Showtime on Demand and check your local listings to catch new episodes on Sunday.

DAMN!!! That was one hell of a GAME!!! It had the drama of a GREAT ACTION MOVIE!!! High drama till the VERY END!!! The Cards prevailed at last, and are now headed to Detroit. The Tigers are the superior team, but I think the Cards will make the World Series interesting. The rotation of Weaver, Carpenter, and Suppan is decent enough. Still, I got Detroit winning in six. But hey, the Mets-Cards series was VERY ENTERTAINING!!!

Yeah, The Mets and Cards are making this NLCS interesting. Still, I don't think either team has what is takes to beat Detroit. The Cards might make the World Series interesting since their starting pitching is intact. The Mets are a good hitting team, but as they say, good pitching stops good hitting. The Tigers got Kenny Rogers, Jeremy Bonderman, Nate Robertson, and Jason Verlander.

That is sad. Even though I'm not a Yankee fan, it kinda does hit home where I live. Lidle was born and raised in the L.A. area. The news people were interviewing friends and family at the Lidle home in Glendora. Right now they are talking to his ex-teamates like Eric Byrnes and Barry Zito. Kinda hard to focus on baseball in light of this tradegy. Cory Lidle 1972-2006 R.I.P.

How ironic. The Tigers took out the Yankees, NO PROBLEM!!! San Diego is still alive. The Mets, despite losing Pedro and El Duque to injuries, they still took out my beloved Dodgers, NO PROBLEM!!! So, Oakland goes against the Tigers, while the Mets wait for the winner of the San Diego-St. Louis series. What you fellow baseball fans think about those matchups?

I don't think so. The Dodgers got Lowe, Penny and Maddux. Maddux is suspect and Penny might not be healthy, but Lowe and Penny have always done well when their teams made the postseason. El Duque isn't nearly the postseason pitcher that he was with the Yankees. His 8-0 record in his first 10 posteason starts was great. Since then, a 1-3 record and a 3.63 ERA in 39 2/3 postseason innings. Looks like our young rookie Hong-Chih Kuo will start game 2 instead of Maddux. Kuo has no posteason experience, but has faced the Mets this year, fanning seven in six innings. Glavine does have postseason experience, but is hasn't helped much. His last 15 postseason starts -- those from 1997 forward -- have yielded a 4-9 record and 4.40 ERA. And I hear Steve Trachsel is pitching game 3. 15-8 is a good record, but with that ERA of 4.97, I like our chances against him. Matter of fact, I like our chances of winning this series. We need the white flag?!

I'm hoping the Dodgers will win tomorrow. That way, they are in the playoffs regardless of what San Diego or the Phillies do in their games. Also, I would allow Derek Lowe to throw the 1st game in the division series. I'm hoping that the Dodgers will play against the Cardinals or the Astros. Dodgers will have home field advantage over those teams.

Last night, I went to my 1st ever RED HOT CHILI PEPPER CONCERT!!!! :hell yea!: :dance: :atoobie: You were right, Francesca, I had an INSANE TIME!!! They started of with "DANI CALIFORNIA"!!! They, of course played all the hits, but they did like 10 of 12 songs off their last album "Stadium Arcadium". They closed the show with "UNDER THE BRIDGE"!!! That one they had to play. Not only is it their biggest hit, it's a song about L.A. Every member of the Chili Peppers grew up in Los Angeles, and many of their songs about Southern California, or California as a whole. Shit I can use this post to revive the West Coast thread. Like I mentioned before, all the RHCP members are grew up and still live in L.A. WESTSIIIIIIIDE!!!
