Sui He captures the grace and power of influential Japanese dancer Kazuo Ohno, in V Magazine‘s Asia Issue. Shot by Glen Luchford and styled by Beat Bolliger, the stark story features minimalist runway looks and dramatic hair and makeup by Lucia Pieroni and Eugene Souleiman. Each element of the story calls to mind Ohno’s legendary stage presence presence and Sui He’s skillful posing, even calls to mind Butoh performance in some shots.

Styled in expert fashion by Sarah Richardson and featuring some truly inventive fashion combinations, the edit represents the kind of quirky and unique content we love from i-D. Ben Toms shoots a colorful and kinetic story for Dazed & Confused featuring girl of the moment, Saskia de Brauw. The out of sight styling by Jacob K, mixes print and pattern for a fresh spin on some of the season’s popular pieces, while hair and makeup by Shon and Hiromi Ueda, add to the overall feeling of off-kilter cool. We can’t help but love Saskia in this and those studded flats that feature prominently.
