I changed the post per page back to 20 to reduce the user confusion. So you are saying you made a post pre-upgrade and then it is no longer there post upgrade?

I think this has to do with the rebuilding of the content, I get random alerts that say there are new posts. Once its fully complete then all this randomness should go away. Please bear with us, sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes it has changed, you do not need any tags, just copy and paste the url and hit enter and you will see the video in the editor. Let me know if you run into any other issues.

I assume you are refering to the posts that just say "[attachment]...[]" ? or can you please link me to what you are refering to. In the case of the above, yes once the rebuild finishes in a day or two then the post will look normal again.

Nothing should have been lost in the upgrade, do you have particular dates that you believe were lost so I can try to track them down?

We are going to upgrade the forum software in a month or so, so hopefully it will be resolved then. Sorry I dont have much time to look at it in preparation for the upgrade.

Yes we are trying to move away from those sites that show popups, porn ads and what not. I don't see any links over here It was broken, and I tested my fix (and it worked ) Ill be rolling it out sitewide in a bit

Thanks, its "caching" that is causing both issues. So once I clear the cache all will be good. I just clicked "edit" and then "save" and all the pictures on the entire page showed up.

So the images as attachments is normal for now. I am making some changes that will upload pictures locally instead of 3rd party webhosts to prevent link rot and spam/popup stuff people hate. Can you please show me a screenshot of the other thing you mentioned?

Ah ok, the Desktop mode is probably it. Im pretty sure the mobile has no ads, I tried it briefly and didnt like it. Also we are planning a big upgrade to the forum software in maybe a month which should be a much better mobile/tablet experience.

Thats really wierd, what phones do you guys use? iphone? We dont even have mobile ads so you shouldnt see any ads at all when browsing on your phone...

You are getting pop ups on BZ? Or when you get redirected to another website when you click on an image (imageshack or something)? We do not allow pop ups on BZ so you should not see any. Let me know so I can investigate, thanks
