I played around with the setting a bit and I think I got it working better now. It should reduce the size automagically to 150x150 so that users dont have to download the full size image. But you can still upload a large image and it will auto shrink down.

Anyways once we get the SSD's I think itll be a lot better. And once I get varnish it will be better still (since all guests will no longer hit the DB )

oh wow, my external monitoring looks really bad. Probably because we have a lot users 846 users are online (in the past 15 minutes)

Site seems ok to me Anyways I have some new SSD's coming today which I will be putting the DB on and then I will finish setting up Varnish. Should be faster when I get around to those two things this weekend. I will let you know once its complete.

Sorry! I was so caught up with the other bugs, I completely forgot to check the maillog. We moved IP's and I didn't setup reverse DNS. So aol (and others) were rejecting our email! Should be fixed now, please let me know if you dont receive any email soon (you had a ton that was rejected). Thanks for bringing this to my attention

Made a few more small changes today (including enabling compression for most of the forum... not sure how I missed that before). Anyways hopefully it will be a bit snappier. Have a couple more bugs then I can get to the Skins issue for everyone

Probably, some of the adjustments I made were in how ACID compliant the DB is (meaning its perfectly up to date), I set it so that its not important as it significantly helps performance. So there may be some lag (probabaly just in the seconds range though) of statistics. Perhaps your computer was caching the results and you needed a cache refresh? CTRL + F5 to do a clean refresh

Sorry for the site blinking on and off the air this afternoon. I was changing more settings on the server which required multiple reboots and service restarts. I think I should be done now for a couple days as it takes 2days before I can run my diagnostics scripts again.

I removed it. In the past we have had members who wanted their accounts deleted and when we didn't comply they started deleting posts. The delete function made it too easy to remove valuable content, so its gone. Didn't think anyone would notice though

I have an idea that *may* work, but it will be a huge pain. I will let you know once I give it a go and let yall know. The only other way would be to revert back to like a week ago right after the upgrade (which I am not going to do). Sorry but we may all have to be considered crazy :persuazn:

It seems to have just placed random emoticons where the original ones were. Hmm strange, but I do see Wet Seal In the post so technically its doing the correct thing. If it already swaped a smiley with hiro in the DB then its impossible for me to revert it as it has no memory as to what the original post looked like sorry
