I guess if they wanted to go bigger, the next logical step would be for the game to take place in a sprawling digital rendering of Gotham. Of course, bigger doesn't always equal better but still, I can't help thinking what fun it would be to dive off huge skyscrapers, roam around Wayne Manor and the Batcave or explore areas like The Narrows. They could open up the possibility of bigger side-stories involving Catwoman, Robin or Nightwing, which I’d be really interested to see. I'm also dying to drive the Batmobile at some point, and I love the idea of entering and exiting the Batcave by car (or even by boat). I don't think I'd be on board with having vehicles available in an open-ended capacity, though. In 'Arkham City' virtually every side street, back alley and rooftop had it's own bit of action, be it henchmen to scrap with, riddles to solve or side-stories, and I strongly suspect that you’d neglect a lot of that stuff if you could simply hop in the Batmobile. Either that or you'd get too caught up in exploring on foot and forget to use it.

Somewhat inevitably, Fergie's much-vaunted masterplan to stop Ronaldo proved to be less than perfect, but overall United were good value for the draw. Looks as if there may be more potential for Van Persie to strike up an understanding with Kagawa than Rooney in the long term. Equally, I thought Dortmund fully deserved their late equaliser. Roll on the second leg games! The English version appears to be strictly digital-only, so I had to settle for the ITunes one. But if you don't mind reading it onscreen, it's all here in PDF format (free of charge too) - http://pdfcast.org/p...-zlatan-english

^Ibra reminds me of a big kid who joins in with the younger ones in the playground, knocking them daft and doing all his best tricks, because he can and because it's fun. Everyone should do themselves a favour and pick up a copy of his autobiography 'I Am Zlatan' - it's absolutely hilarious. Reads like an Alan Partridge-esque celebrity parody.

So, since there's no option but to settle for conjecture at this point, what would everyone like to see in the next game?

The previous two games would have probably come out about a couple of years apart, so depending on when in 2013 this actually lands, it could slot into a pretty tight run of releases. Still, I’m more in favour of letting projects gradually build a head of steam than simply churning out a game every year or two. Plus, it doesn't seem like five minutes since I rushed out to buy 'Arkham City' on release day. Scary stuff. :|

The Strokes' 'All The Time' is currently streaming. It's quite brilliant, and probably wouldn't have sounded out of place on 'Is This It'. Team 'One Way Trigger' or Team 'All The Time' - that is the question.

Interesting. A game covering the Joker's emergence as Gotham's elite villain could be quite cool, but if Rocksteady are out of the picture then someone's going to have some rather large shoes to fill. For now, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a prequel and a Rocksteady-produced sequel.

which is ironic cause I had always thought of Agger/Skertel (when he was starting) as physical defenders we've only had him for a month or less but i'm going to say we missed Sturridge Shelvey is not a striker Though I obviously haven't seen Liverpool's every game this season, Skrtel seems to have been in sharp decline for a while. Very telling that Rogers currently considers Jamie Carragher the better option in central defence, despite Carragher's age and distinct lack of pace.

This one is a performance of 'Marilyn' for a vaguely Valentine's Day-themed feature on Vogue's website. Natasha is on electric guitar, which I don't recall ever seeing before. I could really easily listen to it all day.

Here's the recent video for 'A Wall' and as a bonus, a nice little 'behind the scenes' film too...

Yet more Bat For Lashes now - this one is a performance of 'Marilyn' for a vaguely Valentine's Day-themed feature on Vogue.com. Natasha is on electric guitar, which I don't recall ever seeing before. I could really easily listen to it all day.
  19. Pretty and Pheno = heroes for life, and of course, thanks to all for the various pics and vids. I think I slightly prefer the photos from the website, but the magazine seems considerably less affected by overly exuberant Photoshopping, so I guess it's a bit of a trade-off. Overall though, thumbs up - favourites (roughly in order) would have to be Cintia, Anne V, Emily, Alyssa, Nina and Ariel.

Romelu Lukaku is just absolutely beastly.

^Now there's nowhere to go but down in terms of tone... So, to my delight and surprise there appears to be a new Kurt Vile album due for release in April. For now, here's a video showing the creation of the album cover mural, as well as the obligatory free download of the featured track.

Another valiant effort at the SoL (or as I call it, the rehabilitation centre for woefully out-of-form players), beaten by a 10-man side kept afloat by their goalkeeper. I think I just might have heard that somewhere before. Much as I enjoyed the second half, I doubt we'd have scored if the game had gone on until midnight on Sunday. On the plus side, delighted that Danny Graham got a great reception from our fans on his home debut. He’s a good pro who looks as if he'll do well for us. Two weeks now (curse you blank weekends) until the West Brom game - the possibility of getting dragged back into a scrap refuses to shift altogether, but I'm cautiously optimistic that we can still get ourselves in the top half. Additional: way to go Nigeria on the African Nations triumph. The competition seemed to go on forever, the playing surfaces were atrocious and the refereeing was so bad it bordered on performance art, but the best team won and Sunday Mba's winning goal was a delight.
