At first I thought the first was just a more brightly-colored (colorized?) version of the second, but actually it's hand up vs. hand down, shoe-holding wrist more angled. And you get your choice of which way you like her boob better.

Technical question: Is that bikini bottom a scoop, or a V? Enquiring minds want to know! (BTW, that's a better scan than the versions I have, thanks MizzElin!)

My two favorite VS brunettes!

I think you're right about it being both; that's my guess also. They probably were putting the stuff on her that would play up that aspect of her figure, so that she - and the lingerie they're trying to sell - would look as fantastic as possible. Sigh, there was nothing like 90's VS, and probably never will be again. I like the sporty look too with some muscles in the sbs - Rebecca, Eva when she did VS shows, and Marissa Miller, who has the most beautiful belly. Not too much of a 6-pack though! There's not just one type of beautiful female body. And of course curvy girls rock - curves are beauty for women! Otherwise, they'd look like men, and who would want that?

There's no other aesthetic experience quite like that of seeing a beautiful woman wearing a picture of herself. I think this was from some Lacroix show in '94? Yasmeen also has some self-portrait-wearing shots from that; was there anybody else? I'd like to see them all.

In case there's any doubt that she rules in black lingerie. Notice that in almost all of her VS shots, she's smiling into the camera. That's her style.

Here's a bigger version of one of the shots above. I've had this for along time, and thought she was too obscure to have a page anywhere, but I was wrong. She's very pretty. I love that "holding the heel" pose she has - it's such a classically sexy move!

Some early pics of Jill, fairly rare ones I think. Was she some kind of plus-size model in her early career? She's definitely a lot heavier in some of these pics than I'm used to seeing her.

I haven't seen that much Heather from him. I'm afraid that might be because she didn't do that much with them to begin with, it's just that what she did do was so often stunning. One thing I can't figure out is why she never did bathing suit with them. Surely, if someone has the body and confidence/presence to do great bra and panty shots, she should be able to do bikini as well! Granted, they're different, but bikini can't be a harder standard to meet! Everyone else who did lingerie with seems to have done swimsuit too: Jill, Frederique, Daniela, Rebecca, Yasmeen, Latitia, etc. There's this, but I'm not sure whether it's a bikini or not, even though it looks outdoors:

The most beautiful? Such a hard decision. But she's an interesting choice, and I must admit I've thought so myself at times. I've attached some evidence below. This shot has always looked semi-candid to me. The way her body's facing one way, and her head turned to face the camera, I think she put on the slip, and then they wheeled in a full-length mirror, and cooed "Ooh, Heather, look!". And the bowled-over happy look on her face is her reaction to how beautiful she looked! Who could blame her? Oh well, enough talk, get ready for the eye candy. Merry Christmas! Has anybody seen an early-mid '90's shot of Karen wearing a very form-fitting green catsuit in a VS catalogy? It was absolutely stunning. I'm almost sure it was Karen, though it might have been Daniela instead - I used to get them mixed up sometimes early on, esp. when they were heavily made-up.

Is it an optical illusion from the narrow, strappy cut of these on the hips, or does Heather just have the teeniest, tiniest waist in all creation? I love that about her figure. And her uniquely pretty and appealing face. Why more people don't love her as much as me, I'll never know.

Kristin Davis belongs to that rarest of all categories of women: one who is both cute and beautiful at the same time. I think it comes from her slightly goofy chin, which one might conceivably think of as a flaw, but which is in reality is something that is better than perfect. Hands-down my favorite SITC girl.
