OHH Ohhh I wanna share too both by me (Alexa Lowe) I took intro to poetry this semester and so for the passed week I've been made to write it lol Love A sort of pleasant obsession with someone The kind that is selfless What a feeling to lose this loved one it renders you hopeless A form that is not entirely known The kind that cannot be spoken How can it be shown A heart torn and feelings broken ------------------------------------ Central American Blvd. In the warmth of December, Wintin the noise of the streets There pondered a dog And a contemplating member attempting to cross. In the middle of noon, Underneath the shadow of an over-pass The child moved carefully And the dog moved too soon Attempting to cross. In the centre of the highway, After the brutal assult Left a trail of blood there And the mut slowly limped away Attempting to cross. In the middle of the market place, Among the hustling people A dog laid there dead And still creatures run with steady pace Attempting to cross ------------------------- (weird I know, but bare with me... on my trip to Honduras I saw a dog get hit by a car and I cried and it was the only thing I could think of writing )
