That's what happens when you cast a bunch of girl no one knows or some girls that the majority of people strongly dislike. And that goes to both SI and VS I think they need to cut their bullshit and become bedfellas, let girls like Hailey, Emily and Nina and The Hannah's walk the VS show and put Elsa, Candice, Jasmine and Lais in SI. It's publicity and a win for everyone. -
^ Yup. I'm not excited about the show tbh, the only thing I'm excited about is to see Abel perform and that's about it I'm kinda curious to see what the segments will be like, I'm pretty sure we're getting an Angel Boot camp segment, A #TheNewestAngels segment and a segment about Gigi walking her first VSFS, Kendull won't get one because she is walking the first segment so that leaves no time to introduce her but Gigi? Girlfriend had a casting video, is the only non Angel to be featured in the fittings she is 100% getting a Karlie-esque segment. But overall it does feel like there's no hype whatsoever about the show this year and VS is not even promoting it on CBS yet? I'm not sure about how ratings will do.

Not shading, just telling the truth. I think Adriana, Alessandra, Marisa Miller and now Candice are the only models from this generation who managed to succeed both in the industry and with the audience just as just models. No crossovers to movies, hosting tv shows or any other industry, no famous relatonships, no personal scandals. Those three women worked their asses off in the industry to make it and it paid off, so it's always nice to see them getting some recognition (Y) Especially Adriana because she's my all-times favorite model but that's another story

Bit off topic but ... Sadly, that's how 99% of covers look these days. Editors have become so predictable and there's a lack of creative photographers too these days Anyhow, I just asked the original poster where she got it because I know her so we'll see, she doesn't post fake stuff tho so it's either official or she also got fooled. Can't wait for Elsa's clothing line, I recall she said it wouldn't be expensive which is awesome because she has a killer style IMO and I'd love to get some stuff if possible

Tyra got a figure for ANTM tho, not because of her modelling work. It's different with Adriana because she is 100% a legit model, not a model turned actress/host/singer/celebrity/insteranotherjob here, so it is quite a big deal for her to be the only model there

Thanks for the adds everyone The cover looks legit to me but we'll see, maybe they did different covers? I'm 99% sure I've never seen that photo before or anything that seems to be from that shoot.

Y'all need to sit your asses down and relax. I hope any of you ever has to move to a different country, you'll get poked about your accent by about 100% of people, even your closest friends, teachers, boss, coworkers, etc and it's not racist, you just learn to roll with it and take a laugh too. As long as Taylor wasn't saying something really offensive i don't see what's the big deal. As a Venezuelan who was lived in the US and Argentina I can tell you stereotypes are everywhere and i don't think it will change anytime soon. It's not racism, it's a combination of ignorance and lack of education, so if people are going to get so easily offended about everything then we have a big problem. I think my accent is fucking cute and if someone doesnt like it then that's their problem I do think Taylor is very dumb for posting it on snapchat tho, but that's another story.

It's been posted quite a lot by the same person, over and over and over again. And this is literally a person who met her once for about two minutes? and Elsa didn't feel like taking a picture. She's not the first nor will she be the last model to turn down a picture, heck sometimes my friends want to take pictures of/with me and I'm like fuck off and I'm not even a model And we don't even know how this person approached Elsa, but I'm sure being approached by a stranger who wants to take pics with you in the middle of the street isn't the nicest thing.

Also I'm glad Sara is headed to shoot for swim, i love her swim work. I can't wait to see her + Taylor at the VS show because they did their interviews together I hope they get paired for the swim special too

The typical Venezuelan breakfast/lunch/dinner You have Harina Pan in Chile actually to make Arepas, you should try it one day, they're really easy to make, and we don't have it here in Argentina so I can't eat arepas anymore I don't know how to explain what they are?

She's not a diva/bitch, Elsa is just a very quiet person. I haven't met Elsa but I do know other people who know Elsa, including two models and they didn't have a single negative thing to say, one of them said Elsa is really nice but she's more on the quiet side (I was also told she looks like really really really young in person lol but that's another story) and she's not all hyper like say Sara or Taylor, also Jac and Elsa worked a lot together for Pink so they obviously have known each other for a longer time than the rest of the new girls + Jac seems to have the same kind of personality as Elsa, and Martha and Elsa have been friends for years too, she is also close to Sara and I think Lais too, but lbr, Elsa (as well as Lais, Martha and Jac) don't seem to be into sharing much of their private lives either, most of their social networks consist of pictures of their work, behind the scenes or just them, they just choose not to share what they are doing 24/7 But yeah we like to run with it, it's funny to see how people believe literally everything they read

Nope, if you look at pictures/videos they didn't even have the same order in the two shows. The only thing that matters is that Angels go first and then the rest, but the order of the Angels doesn't matter much.

Elsa was 100% signed before the others. And I think Martha and Jasmine too. By the time they filmed the VSFS last year Elsa was already signed, I don't think she was signed for just a year tbh, I think that because she came from Pink she got a three year like Behati did when she moved up. I think Martha and Jasmine signed right around the date of the show. Not sure about Lais, because she didn't make it to the Swim special which was just plain odd. I think Sara, Jac and Romee confirmed they signed in February, that's way after Elsa did because from what know she confirmed in 2014 while doing interviews for the show that she mad been moved up from Pink and IMG indeed did update her page including her VS status. I think Sara, Jac, Romee, Kate, Taylor and Stella all signed in February so we'll see what happens because contracts are expiring soon, as much as I adore Stella I hope she gets dropped, I always knew she wasn't angel material, she just doesn't cut it in terms of personality, and it's not because she's not dumb smiling all the time like the others, is just that she works great for lingerie but that's it, she doesn't do it for swim and she is painfully awkward in interviews and anything PR related, I hope they keep her around do catalog and the show tho, I was talking to Pretty about this the other, I adore Stella's work but I don't think making her an Angel was the smartest choice.
She was so washed out at the show, I had great expectations for Vita but she was one of those girls who got screwed by bad hair and make up He body and smile were on point tho, Bridget and Vita both looked so happy to be there.
I feel like the majority of people just care about Saylor, Jelsa & Lais. No one gives a fuck about the other five I like them all, but I can see VS dropping the other five or at least some of them tbh. I wonder who they paired Elsa with for interviews tho, I know it was Dri and Ale and Saylor, I was sure Elsa would be paired with Jac but they didn't have their fittings the same day and that's when they shot the backstage stuff
Taylor and Sara werent in the swim special either yet she got signed them because the contracts were signed after the swim special was shot. I do think they are contractually obligated to shoot the swim special so if someone doesn't make it may be a sign, everyone said it wasn't a big deal when Doutzen and Karlie didn't show up last year and they were gone this year. Elsa had the Holiday cover and Sara is the face of both the fragrance and bra they are currently promoting, which is a bigger deal than getting two wings or closing a segment, especially when everyone and their mammas are getting wings anyway (i.e Sui He had two swings and I think Lily D too?) Not saying Kate is out for sure, I particularly like her but if she doesn't make it to the swim special which will air by the time her one year contract expires, she's most likely out. I think Lily and Alessandra are on the way out too but we'll see, let's see who makes it to the credits/segments for the show o.o
