Nah, I'd say not even half of the videos they have online are actual tv commercials and the last two years VS has had less commercials than usual on tv. I don't think they've ever had an actual Swim commercial on tv before, just the stuff from the Swim special last year. They've always done just lingerie and fragrance commercials and now this year they added VSX

It's just the catalog, while the pictures are already on the server and we've seen them, people outside VS forums and such haven't seen them and won't see them until the catalog drops, the pictures are out already and that's it. Vol 2 I think will be the pictures from St. Barths and the swim special. I'd love a swim commercial tho, I don't think they've ever done one? I adore Taylor and yall know I've had a very long love-hate relationship with Candice for nearly eight years since she came out to VS so i'm not biased here at all and lbr Taylor is not even close to Candice. Candice was an instant hit, she had about two seconds of screntime in 2007 yet she stole that fucking show and absolutely everyone was losing their shit about it in the best possible way, she didn't need VS to shove her down our throats for audiences to automatically love her, girlfriend simply nailed it fron day 1, VS did overuse Candice for some time but I think it may have been because they knew their other new girls were not doing as great. Now Taylor has been successful so far but VS has been shoving her down our throats a lot, is not hard to see why she has been the most successful one in terms of social networks when VS is posting so much about her and so little about the others, IDK if she is selling or not and i guess time will tell but I do think Candice's first VS pictures were far far better than what we've seen so far from Taylor Elsa is a different story, she obviously sells and that's why VS promoted her from Pink to mainline instead of dropping her, I think out of the new Angels she is probably the one with better chances to stay for a longer time and the fact that she looks younger than her age helps her, I doubt VS will give a damn about the age as long as she is selling those bras and panties; i can see her staying three to five more years with the brand unless she decides to leave.

No one gave a single fuck about watching either of those women so if popularity is the only reason they got a spot in the show then they will be just one hit fails wonders, they had one job: bring people in, and they failed at it hard. Maybe that's why Vita and Jo are in for the Swim special? Maybe VS finally learned to use girls who actually do sell instead of "popular" girls who end up flopping for VS a la Chanel, Karlie

2011 the model search was announced the day the magazine came out and we had about two or three weeks IIRC? Not sure but the voting process was the same as what they do now for ROTY. Which makes think, if they do have a model search indeed will they also hold a voting for ROTY or just give to whoever they want to win? If this isn't a model search and everyone is a rookie which i highly doubt then this year will be the biggest rookie class ever (asides from 2012) and I think also the year with the most models dropped. MJ said they were done for 2015 but I wouldn't be surprised if they have one last location because so many models got cut o.o

I also pray the lord SI pairs Erin and Kelly for interviews, I'd pay for it Stole the ROTY, now dating her ex, the awkwardness would be gold

The women in Location #4 are not rookies, unless MJ is pretty stupid and can't count because she especifically called Barbara Rookie #4. Also the last time SI had an all-new models location was in 2011 and guess what it turned to be? Yup, a model search. Also Barbara is now the only rookie who hasn't had a Casting Call, I wonder if they'll have one or just leave her as surprise? Last year all the rookies had one. Also the butt in the video does not look like Hannah's at all to me o.o.

^ I doubt VS will even try to push Gigi anymore, they wanted her for one reason only: popularity. And based on the very poor performance the VSFS had in ratings it's pretty obvious she and Kendull failed to deliver, Americans didn't give a single fuck about either of those women and didn't tune in for the show. IMO it shows social media following is overrated once again, in 2012 they had Bieber performing expecting his fans would tune in, results? Ratings were lower than the year before. They did it again this year with Gigi and Kendull and it's pretty obvious it didn't work at all, and dare I say they may have actually turned off some people? Jac missing the Swim special worries me a bit because I do love her for VS but she was shooting in Paris and she did have Chanel before VS and they're probably paying her more so In her case I can see (and hope) her absence is just a matter of bad timing. Kate was a given, she's done with VS and I honestly couldn't care less, she's stunning but nobody will miss her as nobody ever even saw her. I was 100% expecting Rachel to show up tho, surprised she ain't there. And I happen to like both Jojo and Vita a lot but I do hope they don't get signed, VS has way too many girls already and while I think they both are great in catalog I just don't see what would be refreshing/new about either of them? If anything I say VS needs to drop girls and go back to having just 6-8 Angels, keep Candice, Behati, Elsa, Lais, Sara, Taylor, Jac and Jasmine. @Marciotmello I think what Siemgi means is that VS was using Lais constantly because they need a black girl, they knew Chanel was going to be dropped in 2011 and they started grooming Lais to be the token WOC, because when VS didn't have a black girl in the lineup people started bitching about it, now they always make sure to have at least one WOC. They obviously had more options besides Lais but they went with her and I'm glad they did because I think she's amazing for the brand, but the fact is, the main reason why she was working so much in 2011-2012 is because they needed her to represent WOC, atm they didn't have any other WOC in their catalogs as regularly as Lais so they went with her. Jasmine arrived because she's a WOC and American which is gold for VS and also because Lais couldn't be sent to do PR due to her poor English. I do agree with you that VS has too many blondes and they could use some diversity but oh well, the problem is not just with VS but with the whole industry tbh, but with VS it's always been like this, when Tyra left they replaced her with Selita, they dropped Selita and then people got angry for the lack of diversity so they contracted Chanel who flopped and was instantly replaced by Lais. Again, I do think it's lovely they didn't drop Lais in favor of Jasmine, it's been refreshing to have them both there.

I agree, that ain't plus size that's just obese and promoting an lifestyle that probably includes eating a lot of bad shit and never exercising which is just about as terrible as the so called "unrealistic" body image VS sells, which is bullshit because if anything this year with the VSX segment the girls made it very clear that they work their asses off to look the way they do. I'm over all these fat women saying shit every year about VS just to excuse their own unhealthy lives.
